I have always loved gray/silver/white hair. Unlike most, I looked forward to going gray.
I've been wearing wigs for years due to extreme hair loss. This is the first time anyone ever showed me the "hairspray before you clip" trick! Thanks.
That reminds me of one of my MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENTS: Wearing a wig, walking down the Main St. in a local town, the wind actually blew my wig off (it was in the 70's, so it was an afro). Luckily I was near a door that led to a stairwell and was w/ a friend, who managed to chase down the wig and bring it back to me. Someone she met along the chase said he thought she was chasing a little dog! Thanks for the laugh.

I am going thru the same thing about my hair. I have colored my hair for 20 years because I started getting gray at 17. Now I'm wondering how to stop coloring my hair. I have been thinking about a wig. Thanks for the video. It was helpful.
Caution: The combs that clip in can leave bald spots on your head. I have been wearing wigs daily for 48 years and loved the clips until it made me bald on both sides. It took me awhile to realize it was from the clips pulling on my own hair.

you look beautiful in both wigs. i recommend edge control paste for your flyaway edges.
Amazing information! They always want to sell a wig with a lace front. That does not work on me, you can still see some lace. I am very bleach blonde and buy wigs with bangs because I could never figure out how to get rid of that wig look if the wig had no bangs, now I know what to try! Thank you so much!

Well Monique, after having to wear a wig during chemo treatment I really couldn’t think of anything worse than wearing one by choice. It was so hot, uncomfortable and I hated it. But it was better than going out in public bald. I also sewed some of my own hair that I saved to hats and velcro so I could move it between other
hats and beanies. That was much better for me.

I use a nylon wig cap and spray the edges of the cap with Got2B glued hair spray . That jeeps the cap from slipping. Haven't had a wig come off yet.

I just discovered your channel - WOW wish I knew this a year ago - I went gray and it took a year plus I cut my hair VERY short - not a cute style like yours....anyway I made it and really enjoy the freedom of no hair color. Where do you purchase your wig(s) ? You are one pretty lady!
Fabulous! THANKS Unique Monique :-) I went silver for 6 months and I felt 85 so went back to Bottle Blonds with 3 coloured foils [do up to 34 myself and at the back] SO over it now :-D Probably gonna introduce some 'gingers' as im very Fair and have freckles ... enJOYing your video's

looks great on you - and your eye lift is also great. I wish I had one! I have wigs, but sadly, my worst hair (frizzy, awful) is the hair right where you pulled it out (the hair at the top of the wig) - mine is fried, frizzy, and will not lay flat. I am always surprised wig people can't figure out a way to make wigs look better - I don't look good in bangs - but I think I need to really find some type of wig with bangs. Any thoughts on wigs with bangs?
Thanks - yes, I have two wigs (no bangs) and I need to have hair stylist cut them - they now look too young on me - go them in 40s. I am going to go look for wig with some bangs - even a side swept or something would help. I think you channel is great - I hope it gains more and more traction - I know it's silly - but 50s and looks are a real challenge in this culture. I have injections next week for face - thank God. I feel shallow and vapid, but there ya have it. Many people in Dallas area do not age. Sigh;) Take care. I bet you were/are a great actress. I am a retired psychotherapist and was a teacher/school counselor before that - can ya believe that? True! After menopause - I really went nuts - used to have so many great answers and help for people - now I can barely help myself. Thank God my husband is supportive and he is one of those - "who cares - ya look great" people. He is 6 foot 3 and not to brag, but movie star handsome, full head of salt and pepper hair, etc. - aging is harder on women, as my mother tells me. She is almost 80 - 2 facelifts and does everything right - still does pilates - and she looks great. She also has a great, full head of hair - I got my Dad's hair. This is ridiculous that I am even typing to you - I promise I"ll stop!
My hair turned white when I turned your age. I would give anything for the beautiful silver hair you have. My hair is cut in a bob and it is very coarse and thick. What could you suggest ? Help ?

That short silver hair and cut looks fine to me, would be very happy if I had my hair already like that , why go through all of trouble to hold that long haired wig tight on the head ? I will use a mid length wig to let my silver shine grow out, at the moment only wear head scarfs..... cheers to our ever changing Lives !

Go for "transition" lens instead of bifocals - no lines, look like regular glaces.
I do like your video's. They are for the average woman and not all of us can afford to spend a fortune on make up. You are showing and using less expensive but good make up.

Ya, I followed your link on your page and it's no longer available...the color is brilliant for us "white, gray, and pepper" gals...I've begun to embrace my natural color (again) and it's only about 1/4 inch long at the moment.
