I wrote translyrics to the sequel of this song! Check it out here! ☆ Forty-Seven (Yonjuunana) 【English ver.】 kran* th-cam.com/video/-fnpmzQEmek/w-d-xo.html
it's been nearly a decade and i still remember this cover as my introduction to mikitoP as a producer. Even after hearing several other sets of translyrics, this remains my favorite take on the song. Thank you for sharing it.
I remember listening to this song about a year ago, and never knew what it meant in English until now. Your voice is really pretty! This cover is awesome! :D
i really love your translyrics..^^ i even remember most of your english translations than the original japanese lyrics.. xD plus your voice is outstanding~
Your voice is so enchanting. T v T I find myself singing along to this almost every day. ♥ You've pretty much inspired me to someday upload my own covers. ; v;
A couple of days ago I remembered this song/cover existed. Despite searching for it I couldn't find it. So I had to dig a little deeper for it. I'm so glad I found it again. Liked and saved so I don't lose it again.
Thanks! I'm currently working on translyrics for it. It might take a while though because I'm currently getting buried in work. Should be done in a few months.
I think it was based off Rino Sarishihara, a member from the band AKB48 who was involved in a dating scandal. The song "Forty-seven" is from her perspective and this song is from the man's perspective. I'm assuming in this song the man wanted to visit her and can't because she is an idol. He is hurt by the rumors that other people are spreading about her and says that he will love her no matter what. At 3:08, it looks like he wants to see her one last time while she was on stage. I don't know how to explain it clearly but the story is really deep and there is a doujinshi on this and it's amazing. You should go check that out too!
