Fascinating video! I tried growing beets this year in containers and they stayed spindly and didn't grow, though I planted by seed in early spring. I didn't fertilize them as I was told not to. Also, that beet dish looks really interesting. What is the purple part? And what is the white stuff you drizzled on top?
