    Hi Marci💕
    Very interesting uses of your products, I haven't tried this I buy the O'Keeffee's lotion and that would be expensive. It was fun to watch and I like all your different variations. Thanks for sharing, hope you have a good week. Take good care, hugs! 🤗

      Oh yes, definitely don't use the good stuff for paper crafting. 😂 Have a great weekend, Celeste! 💖

    My lotion was coconut and Sher butter and it did make the paper soft aside from a few rips as I tried it on vellum paper l😊

    I have tried this technique also, I used hand lotion that was medium thickness and added metallic pigments too. It did rip a little also but was very crinkley xx

      Metallic pigments would be so pretty to add in, but I could see how it might tear up the paper. I've watched another video since I posted this one and I think I would have a better result if I apply the lotion to my hands, then work it (gently) into the paper. I think it would be less likely to tear that way. 🤗💖

    Neat idea. One word of caution if you sell your journals- does the paper have a scent once the paper dries? Some people, like myself, have chemical sensativities and depending how severa can make them very very sick, or worse 😕😕.

      I thought about that too. I would be cautious about using these kind of pages in a journal I'm selling. Options would be to either mention it in the listing or to use oil instead of lotion so there's no scent. A few weeks have passed now and the pages still smell faintly of lotion, but in a good way. Since I'm including the sheets in a journal for someone I know, I am okay with using them. Thanks for mentioning this in your comment so others are aware to be careful when using scented papers. Some of the old stationery papers were scented too, so there may be the same issue with using them in journals. Do you know if there are unscented lotions that would be safe to use for momagami? Also, do coffee and tea dying affect people who are sensitive to scents? I'm very curious to learn more! Thanks so much for watching and commenting, Karen! 😊 💖

    Can you write on the paper after this technique. TFS

    • @CreatorsCall
      @CreatorsCall  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good question, Brenda! The comments on the videos I watched indicated that writing may have mixed results depending on the medium used on the paper (oil, lotion, conditioner, etc) and the type of writing instrument used. This is meant to be more of a decorative application, so the pages would be a feature in a journal rather than used for writing space. Pockets, tuck spots or other embellishments could be added to the momagami pages for extra places to write, I think. 💖
