Near perfect conditions for Bundaberg reef fishing on a very very hot day

  • Gday viewers! Well we finally got a fantastic weather window to get back out on the water again. Luckily for us this day fell between the two Spanish Mackerel closures which meant we were able to catch and keep two of them. For some of us it was our first trip of the year. In near glass out conditions we managed to grab a good feed of fish for friends and family but unfortunately the sharks were out in force as well and nailed any of the trophy fish we hooked up to. Enjoy.

I liked the video and the fella's on the boat seemed genuine, not like some possers you see, but I couldn't help noticing the constant sound of a sinker or something tapping away in background throughout the whole video

Thanks for that 👍 I'm thinking that tapping sound could be the Boga-Grips tapping on the side of the bait board. We have 2 of them, 1 on each side of the bait board. Otherwise it could be a rod in a rod holder moving from side to side. We'll check it out next time we're on the water and see if we can eliminate it.
