Electronics for bots are actually quite simple. I use all off the shelf components and just solder them together. I plan to do more educational videos in the future, but for now here is an excellent overview: th-cam.com/video/AJVKOHPe9tw/w-d-xo.html
I was staring at that one for quite a while...though I'd say it looked more like a watch battery when upside-down. Really small compared to the others too.
It could be dangerous as well due to how powerful the bots have been getting At least the comedy central battlebots did them regularly so we have that to go off of
wow, only 3 LBs! They could do so much dmg if you made 250 lbs worth of the good ones and put them against one of the 250 lb battlebots, I think. Maybe not, though. They don't have the strength/weight to push their weapons through the heavier bot armor, they might just bounce themselves off.
I know first-hand that some of these can take on a weaponless 15lber and squeak out a win (managed to beat Toxic BARista with Melanistic Leopard in a grudge match in Stuart, FL). I'm afraid of what would happen if one of them went against a spinner, though. Also, I think at least one team at Battlebots had a D2 kit as a minibot. Don't remember what happened to it, though.
There was an insane proposal for a 37-part multibot for one of the new BattleBots competitions, but it was rejected. Its name was The Cone Army, and plugging it into a calculator, each of the individual bots would've weighed about 6 pounds.
I would say PHP caused a lot of the damage in this fight and I noticed he/she/what ever gender or pronouns robots are now caused a lot of damage, and the last time I saw a robot dig into the floor like that was watching nightmare's fights and the after math. It seems the PHP needs or what ever its name is now just might need changes or a better relationship with neurons third law and more protection to the rubber band. Like I said I stopped with the questions now I'm leave just your comment that people who never seen TH-cam expect.
This looks like what a pinball machine would look like if none of the components were attached
Wow, Debacle unleashed so much damage before it was disabled, thanks for the upload
It got wedged into the floor before the drive band flew off.
nodsib ,llk
I like how the tiny Tombstone did the same thing the actual Tombstone does when on its side.
witch doctor team and hyper shock leader was there!
And so was team Whiplash
WHAT
0:09 Mike and Andrea Gellatley spotted
Yep
RIP GoPro

Everyone in the house:
Most robot fights are the lame flippers. Im glad to see parts break off! This is how robot fights should be.
I like how the undercutter just wanted to be a vert.
When the spinner robot is standing completely on it's side..you know sometihng is gonna happen
Every second a bot violently kills itself
Well, didn't take long for that to turn into a bot graveyard!
So much kinetic energy.
Poor Lua. But it probably was the only bot that didn't suffer any damage.
nice video editing. That was entertaining
I like these smaller sized fights
Okay this is bad ass!
Which bot was Team Witch Doctor driving?
that black robot with the disk underneath it reminds me of a heavyweight robot from robot wars called PP3D.
Just as insane too.
no it looks like Valkyrie
yeah undercutters are always insane
Who won?
You beat the crap out of every body
I would LOVE to get into this sport, but I don't know shit about electronics, so I can't exactly BUILD a not myself
Sorry, I meant bot. Damn autocorrect

+TeamVelocity thanks
Thankfully there are robot arena 2 competitions
The electronics are actually almost always only as simple as RC electronics. Unlike other robot competitions this is mostly mechanical engineering
That saucepan bot spinning upside down in the blue square for 2 minutes, trying to flip over.... I was hoping someone would ram them
I was staring at that one for quite a while...though I'd say it looked more like a watch battery when upside-down.
Really small compared to the others too.
That is fcking diamonds. Nice work
Did the GoPro survive?
Yes, the aluminum housing I have around it can take a beating. However most of the footage was corrupted.
@@TeamVelocity oof
Hey, it's the Witch Doctor babe.
is your weapon belt a rubber band?
It’s fiber reinforced urethane.
your gonna need flex tape.
0:00 witch doctor and whiplash
The blue one didn't move
I feel bad, first they lose, second the robot they worked on for ages got destroyed while they watched
needs more... hammer.
This was insane. Too bad battle bots will never do this because people spend way too much time on their robots there
It could be dangerous as well due to how powerful the bots have been getting

WOW ULTRA .
20 trillion spinners
My favorite bot is the one in the bottom right at 0:45

I know witch doctor had a mildly effective minibot. Can't remember any of the mini bots doing much though in those big fights.
