Hey dad, keep doing an amazing job at United from flight engineer on the 727, first officer on the 737, 757, 767, and now finally a captain on the A320. You are my role model in life showing me how to have a hard work ethic and a great father, my inspiration for my future career path as a naval aviator and comercial pilot, and most of all, my motivation to push as harder as I can to accomplish my goals. When I think about all the things that convinced me to pursue a career in aviation I can honestly list this particular video right at the top of the list. My Airline Transport Pilot oral exam is tomorrow am and my ATP/type ride is in a few weeks. I come back to this video the night before every checkride for some last minute motivation. I'm 38 years old, Modular and have worked as a part time flight instructor for a year and a half. I've just got my first airline job!!!! Fully bonded type rating and a fairly nearby base too. Think I need to play the lottery.... Your videos are (and continue to be) inspirational - I watch them over and over again! all those who have been obsessed with aviation and have endured the long struggle will understand....!!! +190.79.237.69 Hi, Maths is very useful but you don't have to be a genius - I'm really not very good at Maths!! 3x table is your friend along with speed/distance/time. The other stuff, you can learn by rote. Hardest part of all this is managing the cockpit workload - very easy to become saturated!
