Isn't it crazy how in a way... Jack and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank somewhat link together.. With the precursors and ratchets race being some of the greatest beings and almost going extinct as the precursors do. And ratchet being an ocelot as well, but just a different animation.

+AcroBat Of course, best first look into the game (guns, dark Jak, new characters...), best storyline, best villains, best difficulty (I liked that it was pretty hard compared to the other games), good gameplay mechanics (ND made it better on Jak 3), an incredible open world and it has some of the best cutscenes (Jak 3 wins on that one, you know why, that reference to The Wizard of Oz with the Precursors at the planet's core hahaha) and of course some of the best areas in the trilogy, it was perfect for me just like the other ones, but Jak II was even more perfect if that's possible. Also, the entire saga had very good graphics for a PS2 and its own unique style.

I'm really shaken. This game was my child hood. I played it everyday all of them and i loved every single bit. I remember when i couldn't win something i'd get mad and take a break then come back and win it. I would invite my cousin and we would play it. Really just hit me in the heart. How i miss it

Jak 1 was one of the first PS2 games I played, got it when I was in 5th grade. Love the trilogy, best games ever. Always my favorite, no matter what other games I may play.

Then in the end it shows part of the beginning scene from Jak 2 where Daxter takes the lift up to where Jak was. In no way did Jak X/Jak 3 transition to these sky pirates and "the end of the world"
I learned to be comfortable and relaxed about english when i was a little kid and played Jak and Daxter. All these good memories... My kids are denfinitely gonna play this game.
It amazes me how these games manage to put more personality into their characters,and even on an older gen console animate them with far more expression than near all games on the current gen.
I remember why i used toplay this game on my playstation.. Damn what a good ass Bunch of games. With a sick ass story line and awesome voice acting. I got cold chills when Jak finds out that Damose was his dad and that he was Mar all along. Soooo sick. Thank you for making this it made my day.

Actually, you're both right. Jak isn't The Mar that built Haven City, fought through time, etc., but he isn't his son either. He became the Hier to Mar from fate alone. His younger self was pure enough to safely bond with the Precursors, and that's why Damas named him Mar. Mar knew this, and through time, fought with the metal heads with the Precursors to protect the kid and help him grow into the Mar that finishes what he started. I was obsessed with this series enough to find out lol.

I never realized it before but when Samos says find yourself Jak when they are going through the precursor ring, he literally means find yourself, your past self, epic foreshadowing.
The little jak grew up in haven city, but got send back into the past in the end of the jak 2 game -he got sned back before the precursor legacy. the little jak then grew up and his first adventure is the first game. then in the second game jak travels into the future again and ends up where the little jak started to be in haven city

ak enters the Precursor "Spaceship" in the end of Jak 3, and is not seen being left, which could lead to the theory that he went with the Precursors, went back in time [between TPL and Jak II] and lived as "Mar", and then the Precursors sent him back to the time he left Daxter, in the age he left his companion - he would travel by a Rift Gate to a close time and location, hide the Rift Gate and go to the place where he left Daxter, appearing in the time his younger self was leaving
Yep. She says around 80% of the way through that she is now at peace, having seen the face of her creators, and then then thanks Daxter for that. So it's pretty clear that she knows
I've beaten all 3 games back then on the PS3. I LOVED IT! The first game was warm and was just always fun and kept you trying to look for precursor orbs to unlock stuff. J2 was really dark and really TWISTED the whole hero to an anti-hero. J3 was half-and-half of both, but was still relatively dark. There is NOTHING bad about the whole Jak series.
Forget the lost frontier, playstation move heroes, daxter, jak x, and even playstation all stars battle royale. Although a few of those games were good, I just want to remember Jak and Daxter as they are in this trilogy because I think they were depicted the best in these games.

They also (coincidentally) have made some Sony's most popular games on each console (Spyro, Crash, Ratchet, Uncharted and Resistance) plus Spyro and Crash both competed for Sony's mascot so yes, there have been a bit of competition between the two as well.

Praxis is on some screen speaking like he did in Jak II. The map name is BlackRock stadium. Also in case you never knew, Keira herself is actually voicing someone :).... Keira is the voice actor of Fat princess. She always have been. So even though her figure is in SOV, her actually person participated in PSASBR!
