I ended up with an open right tibia fracture so I was stuck on the couch, unable to drive for just about the rest of the year. Did you or your buddy get injured? It sounds like someone fractured something!
Your flying on what looks like 25m lines. You land about the same if anything closer than where the kite started. I work that out to be about 25m maybe 30m max.You will get much further doing the pendulum jumps.
thats more like 20-25m meters, not even close to a 100.

I'll give him 25-30m on that jump. The stock lines that come with a Blade are 25m and he landed at just about the same spot the kite took to the air.

I will never understand people launching a kite which is, compared to the wind, big in the centre of the wind window.
