Great video bud! I have a Helikon Tek E&E Pouch and a General Purpose pouch that I'm gonna figure out how to use on the Savotta Jakaari LARGE that my wife is giving me for my birthday next month! Be well and thank you for the effort that goes into producing such videos! Bill Doyle in Upr Grnwd Lk, NJ!
Mirror is on the compass. In the backcountry I travel, search and rescue puts up aircraft immediately, so if ever needed, I put up smoke and they know my exact spot. Thank you!
Love those Helikon canteen pouches/bags ! I have the same SAK...planing on getting one with scssors. Look forward to your Beker review. Looks very promising !
🌟 love the Helikon... and your little back up knife is deluxe. And for binos.... why everyone does not have them for bushcraft of urban... I HAVE NO IDEA. SUPERVISION INSTANTLY WITH NO BATTERIES.... YES PLEASE ✅
I enjoyed the video on your Helikon-Tex adventure kit. I have the same Camper SAK in my hiking/adventure backpack with 2 modifications. I have some tinder material from Tortoise Gear that fits onto the corkscrew of the SAK and I have replaced the toothpick with a small ferrocerrium rod from Fire Ant. Just like having more than one knife, having fire starting redundancy is a good idea.
I will be posting a video shortly with all the information, showing the many sheaths, pouches ,etc. That my local leathermaker has made. She is ready to make sheaths for the Ochoco Bushcraft viewers. Paintedhillscustomleather.com
Great kit. As you were going through it, I was asking what about.. then you’d pull it out. Haha. By the way, I purchased a Bushcraft Outfitters MEST poncho. Love it.
How do the TKC scales fit on your small Esee/Becker (EsKabar) ? I got the same knife but went with the extended scales on mine. Has a loose fit. So I put the gorilla tape around the inside of the knife tang to tyten the fit. It’s the only knife I have fitting problems with the TKC scales.
I love that bag. It holds everything I might need in an “I got lost” emergency
Absolutely. Thanks!
Add a couple needles, a bit of waxed dental floss and a signal mirror if you can👍
Takes no space.
Great kit bro!!
Thank you!
Good kit Dan
Thanks!

Thank you! Sounds like you are getting a very cool birthday present! Awesome to hear from someone on other side of the U.S.
Nice review for a nice kitbag, thx
How about an emergency whistle and signal mirror? Or did I miss that? Awesome bag and survival load out! Nice video!! Thanks!

Nice! But the fixed blade is an ESEE.
I really like the Helikon-Tex stuff. My Swagman Roll has been a mainstay in my larger kit.
Still have my swagman roll in my bushcraft pack too. Great piece of gear!

That is a great poncho! Hope you get the chance to make some tarp shelters with it.
That’s the Becker/Esee BK14. It’s called the EsKabar. Great video!
I had a moment where I couldn't remember Lol! thanks!

Mine fit perfectly. If you contact Ethan at the Knife Connection, I'm sure he will work with you to fix this.
Prineville?
Yes.
Great kit
