As you were: IN-RANKS INSPECTION 7-59. To conduct in-ranks inspections, put the platoon use the following procedures in a line formation, the platoon sergeant commands Count, OFF. On the command of execution OFF, all personnel except right flank personnel turn their heads and eyes to the right and the right flank personnel count off with “ONE.” After the right flank Soldiers have counted their number, the Soldiers to their left count off with the next higher number and simultaneously turn their heads and eyes to the front. All other members of the formation count off in the same manner until the entire formation has counted off.
Great Video, I love it. I look at these videos because they are real and by the standard, as an NCO I read the reg DNC(Drill and Ceremony) TC 3-21.5 and then book at demonstrations on line before Input them on white board and execute them in person with squad or platoon. THANKS so much for the video !
i disagree the PLT SGT is whacked look at the video again and look at the 3rd rank and look at soldier to le left and look at the distance between him and the 2nd soldier in the 3rd rank and then the PLT SGT didn't look and continued on he's not sharp im a former DS and this would get him fired
This was a good video, perhaps not perfect but being in the national guard for close to 20 years this was a good refresher. By the way 60% of the armed forces are from the reserve components. That means along with working a normal 40 hour a week career they also serve their country. Some of the comments on this site show negativity from Full time "soldiers" when in fact my experience with full time soldiers while over seas was less then stellar.
I enjoy when people record and share videos, but please review the information before posting because some of this information is incorrect. The TC states on the command of execution "OFF," (not count) everyone, but the right flank personnel (squad leaders) turns their head to the right. If the platoon sergeant (PSG) wants to align the squads, when he/she gives the command march (as in open ranks, march) the PSG faces to the half left/right in marching positions himself one step from the squad leaders. Also, please enforce arm swing when you are marching position to position to align and inspect the Soldiers. TC doesn't say 45-degrees when inspecting, it states, "After inspecting at the center position, he takes a short step forward and to the left and inspects, returns to the center and steps forward and to the right and inspects, and returns to the center position." Also, please enforce arm swing when the Soldiers are moving forwards and backwards for open and closed ranks.
This is some of the boring and tedious shit you have to do in the army. I always hated change of command ceremonies and reward ceremonies. No one like standing at parade rest/attention for 35-60 mins for some bullshit ceremony.
@@ccrawford8843 Because when a Drill Sergeant attends a professional school, while still on the trail, it is their prescribed duty uniform. They don't get to just take it off for the duration of the school.
@@ccrawford8843 that is your designated headgear you are suppose to wear. If he was airborne he’d have to wear a maroon beret if he wasn’t in an airborne unit he would have to even if he was airborne qualified .
Wing It Gamers Hey dude this clearly the NCO Academy at Fort Leonard Wood. The drill is from 1st Eng Bgd like I am and there are two at least two active duty recruiters in the formation. This isn’t a National Guard video at some weekend training.
I kinda like seeing a recruiter and DS in formation next to each other

The confidence he has on video with a buck SGT grasp on D&C is insane. Not gonna mention the 5500 violation or did I?
Wow that counting drill is nearly exactly the same as the German one

Why so many pot bellies? DFAC must be smackin’
Thank you so much
3:26 2nd 3rd and 4th rank, parade, REST!
Negative. The command is At Ease IAW TC 3-21.5
OMg disgrace and there's a DS that looks confused lololol
Excited!
did the PLT SGT didn't see the 3rd rank soldier wasn't even close to his 2nd man lolololol what a disgrace he needs to be fired
Must be national gaurd
Thằng càm lon nước ngọt là tôi
The DS should have this on lockdown , no excuse
If you’re a DS and you go to school you shut up and go with the flow. No need to stand out more
I dont know why he felt necessary to wear the stupid hat. This obviously was not about him, but a school.

So much wrong with this video makes army look bad way to go National Guard 😂

Maybe you could take the time to post a video that is more correct if you think it's that misleading.
What is up with his uniform?? 😩
Is this ocs?
