The Sutton House story was so interesting and emotional too, even for the viewers. I loved the gorgeous home and knowing it will remain for future generations to enjoy.
i love everything about antiques roadshow! it makes me so happy everytime a new episode gets announced and i stay happy at least until i finish watching it and sometimes quite a while longer. but i've applied soooo many times for tickets, but i never get called. i have something that could be the main feature of an episode, but i never get picked. total bummer! but i still love the show!
I so understand the lady that said, "And now I know." I have a painting of little value, but can't find the story about it. I've seen similar paintings of the same subject by the same artist that were on Ebay, but the art professor at a university here in town said it was a painting, not a print. I want to know the story behind these paintings.
Wouldn’t work for someone who says they don’t “touch dirty.” It’s disrespectful to those doing the job and if you aren’t willing to put in work at any level, it means you don’t care.
The US version of 'Antiques Roadshow' is a total sham. There is nothing about the history of the objects nor the background; it's all just about money. The owners of the 'antiques' don't seem to 'give a monkey's' (as we say) as to the 'background' of the objects. It's as if they don't give a damn what it is, just what it's worth. Go to 'Antiques Roadshow', the 'UK original' and see what it was actually meant to be.

How incredible to actually meet the artist of your painting by sheer chance at the Roadshow! I'm so happy he signed it, too!
Loved seeing the frank lloyd Wright house! So glad it was restored.
This just makes me LOVE the roadshow even more !!
Marsha is really fantastic! I love seeing people who truly love what they do.

I was there, one of the last memories of my dad. Didn't get rich but it was a great time.
Beautifull encapsuilation of thier work, esthetic and ethic. Thankyou!

It’s funny how they say the appraisers does it for free. They have first dibs and can be off on their estimate benefiting the appraiser?
Modern vinyl, versus well maintained vintage vinyl, isn't as elastic.
Love FLW's stuff, but those dining room chairs looks SOOOOOO uncomfortable
note to self dont look at an item at roadshow and go thats the bomb because the bomb squad may show up
Is Frank Lloyd Wright any relation to Frank Rike???
Camera's Negative

She won't pick up nothing dirty but can't even say drawing.. what? Lol.

I fully agree with you. The weirdest situation was when the lady with the medal/coin said "and now I know what it is", and...?
I always thought the UK shows were boring!
Calm down
I like the American version better. The more emotional. When I watch the British one there’s no emotion on their faces or bodies. And it’s very boring
Sounds as if you've never seen the US version.
