We enjoyed most of these, but the one that gave us fits was the Nautilus Trap one. The very beginning cards dinging us set a pretty negative tone. We eventually escaped, but it wasn't a great experience. I also keep missing the "use a machine" clues in some of those which would have saved us some time as we tried to figure out what to do next. :) Not sure which one is my favorite so far. Probably the first Noside one. I like the cartoony feel of that one. I haven't had a chance to play the second one yet.
They aren't really replayable by the same group/person. Once you've played through it, you know the answers. The Unlock series can be passed on to others, though because you don't destroy anything. After a few years, you could try to play some of them again with new players -- some of it may be familiar, but you might forget the specifics.
With regards to Scheherazade, did you fully consider the storyline? As the players work to save the princess from her captor the Sultan, she apparently falls in love with him. In the end, she marries her captor and they have many children together. Yuck! We regret being part of this experience. We were unfamiliar with the tale of Scheherazade before playing the game. I recommend that anyone considering playing this Unlock first google that tale. Overall, we think that the Exotic series is the weakest of the Unlocks. We've enjoyed all the others so far, with Oz being our favorite.
