  • This is one of a series of "quarantine" videos made during the summer of 2020. "Quarantine" refers to the fact that we must make music when and where we can in times of crisis, even if we don't have all the aural ingredients the composer may have wished for. Please forgive any tuning issues - it's a hot, humid summer in Ohio, and this organist can only climb so high!

Such beautiful graceful playing. I am blessed to live and work in the New York area where we have Terrence McKnight on WQXR who has introduced us to the music of Florence Price, and I'm forever grateful. I'm an organist, but this piece may be just a hair above my abilities. I instantly recognized your organ as Casavant, probably late 60's early 70's. Love the Phelps era instruments.

This is wonderful! A mention of the organ works of Florence Price in the AGO magazine caught my eye, and I realized that I did not know any organ works by this composer. I came here to find this!
