I’ve been wearing Hijab since I was 12 and I did it because my parents forced me to it without proper explanation or language , their only reason was “ Men are looking at you”, I grow up to love the hijab on my own and found the right reasons and intentions to wear it proudly alhamdulilah ❤ now me wearing hijab and niqab is something that became part of me truly , sometimes it’s hard to shift focus from ppl opinions (good or bad) to what Allah asks for . Thank u Fatima❤💗 ^edit for typos:)
Egyptian 22 year old living in America over here: and trust me when I decided to wear the niqab over a year ago, EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER WAS AGAINST, the surprise was: every single person who was against it was muslim and ARAB. non arab muslims were thrilled about it.
Just finished this and allahumma barik this is a gem from start to finish. May Allah make your videos weigh heavy on the scale and be a means for you to enter Jannatul Firdous
Mashallah! I really enjoyed this podcast and deffff make more and I love how you explained every aspect of the hijab so beautifully, and this really is inspiring! I love the part of the reputation section of the podcast and this really opened my eyes yk? Mashallah girl keep it upppp 🙌🙌
Awww salaam my love, welcome back and thank you so much for your feedback! I know a lot of factors go into why we might feel swayed or whatever by folks when practicing hijab and reputation was the biggest one I noticed a lot of folks talking about. Glad you found benefit in it. :) Maryam AS is truly sooooo inspiring land I truly believe her story was preserved for us to draw inspiration from. Inshallah next episode will be on hijab and beauty and I'm exited to publish it for you and get your feedback! See you next week my loveeeee
Allahumma baarik sis. Love the set up and the content is masha Allah beneficial. The French didnt like that Algerian women veiled because they saw them as lower and wanted to be able to enslave their bodies and minds. So they forced them to unveil by paying their husbands or giving them jobs to force their wives to unveil. Others were graped and put in brothels. Some of the women would cover themselves in animal feces to prevent French soldiers from graping them. So removal of the veil was the oppression but it doesn’t take us long to forget our history.
Subhanallah sister!! I feel so speechless due to the shock but also not? When you said it doesn't take long for us to forget our history I almost teared up because on the one hand it's true, but also on the other it made me think about how we're not even taught these things to begin win. This is why we need spaces where women can talk about these kind of things with one another, educate each other because force exist that would want nothing more than to take away what makes us most proud. May Allah give us the strength cause it truly do be hard on these streets LOL.
Wa alaykumusalam my love! I love these messages cause sometimes it’s easy to get discouraged as a content creator when you feel like your content isn’t reaching the right community but alhamdulilah you are proof that it has. I appreciate you. 🥹💕

This shocked me too! I didn’t experience much backlash as hijabi but as a niqabi things are completely different subhanallah
