@@isaiahcheecham9148 it really does, it was made in 2003. What other game came out during that period that was as sophisticated as this? Only half life holds a candle. Uncharted, call of duty, battlefield, none of them existed this early
PLEASE play the whole game, it gets better and better and weirder and more experimental and creative as it goes! And it's not a very long game either! Weird and cool original story, too. Highly recommend a full playthrough
Wow I remember playing this one a lot. I remember the plates in the kitchen, jumping on books in the library and the crazy moment when you are walking around on a snooker table. It's pretty creative gameplay wise.
I actually have the movie on DVD and loved it as a kid. I know I'm blinded by my nostalgia goggles but the scene with the mausoleum is insane. The costumes and makeup is top notch.
This is one of those games that was part of your childhood, and is still fun to play as an adult today. I hope you guys make a part 2! I own it on the Gamecube, and might play it again thanks to this
I remember spending an entire night playing this game and then going to Disneyland the next day and the ride was under construction haha. Still have this game and played it the other day haha
I’m so happy to see this game get some love. My brother and I played it all the time as kids and last Christmas revisited it and man it’s quirky but so much better than it has a right to be.
i feel like this game was probably supposed to consist mostly or entirely of the cool more puzzle-y stuff but then some studio executives got their hands on it and said "kids love the shooting games, make sure you've got all the little guys running around for them to shoot at"
This game had so many fun smart levels, the paintings, the rooms that move, the pool game, if you like Portal 2 you’d love it. Maybe as an adult they wouldn’t seem so complicated but still.
I've always considered this game being Luigi's Mansion without Luigi with how similar they both are. The fact that this is on Gamecube also contributes to that.
The nostalgia wave washed over me and now I'm depressed. Remember playing this game on one of those micro Tvs you could put in the car and annoying my family with the pause menu music on long car rides.
Man, I loved playing this game when I got it. Such an underrated classic. i doubt you guys will, but id personally love seeing more of this series being played.
I used to play this one over and over when it came out! Such a fantastically designed game. The developers obviously put lots of heart and soul into its production.
I just started following these guys like yesterday, and now I'm just mad dog going through all of their catalog. So funny and relaxing at the same time, why don't they have more subscribers? It's criminal!
Man, the 2023 movie is actually GOOD. It just suffered Disney (Bob Iger) sending Disney into the depths of hell. No real promotions and a horrible release date. It really is much better than the first and more true to the source material.
This game actually seems pretty cool!! Being able to travel through the paintings was a neat idea! Really creative looking game, it weirdly feels like a lot of care and passion went into this.
I will say the new haunted mansion movie is actually really good. I'm glad they kept it PG-13. It was true to the ride (even included the Florida one) and was a good explanation of grief and stages of grief.
* when the opening cutscene starts and as the new paper gets pulled down to reveal the main characters face when you said “aaaannnnd here’s Eddie Murphy!” I F K I N G LOST IT I WAS IN TEARS LOL!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂*
My childhood horror game lol 😂 good times playing this at night and it scared the hell outta me . The kitchen level with the grudge was so insane! Zeke come closer.
I LOVED this game. My mom and I played it together twice. I was so happy it wasn’t really based on the movie, though it did come with two very expired movie ticket coupons when we bought it used 😂
I have had this game for years. I only played it once but never got to finish it. It definitely was not what I expected and was kind of disappointed and confused of what the plot was about.
Yes! At last! No one talks about this game yet it was the first game that scared me with the creepy girl in the hallway. I'd played silent hill and only jumped when the flying thing came through the window but THIS! Genuinely shook me up as I wasn't ready for it 😂
This left me reminded of how Guillermo Del Toro would have made a Haunted mansion movie true to its source and feel with Ryan gosling starring in it. We really can’t have good things can’t we
The new movie is really good and is lore accurate to the ride including the villian, ghost backstories and it even includes the dune buggy. Del Toro didn't want to commit to the movie cause he was doing pacific rim at the time
It blows my mind that you guys aren't getting like 800k+ views on your videos. You guys nailed such a formula for silly lets plays, banter, and nostalgia that I haven't enjoyed since like 2013 😂
I recognize that voice actor doing the introduction narration! That's Dee Bradley Baker He's also the voice of Betram Tung the Nosferatu from Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines. He also voices Perry the Platypus in Phineas and Ferb.
And the guy who plays the villain in the game is Corey Burton, who played Count Dooku in a lot of Star Wars stuff, and Captain Hook in a lot of Disney media!
I had this game as a kid. I never finished it. It was one of two games that scared me as a child. The other was RE4. I finished the entire RE series numerous times since then, but never this
The new movie in my opinion is actually better than the 2003 film (the 2003 film wasn't terrible but it was more of a comedy and didn't balance the darker theme the attraction is known to have, balancing comedy and darker elements) but even that is falling victim to the Disney box office bomb curse.
Elemental and Guardians 3 save them this Summer, also they don't learn when the first Hocus Pocus film was release in July 1993 and also bombed (probably because these movies works better in Halloween time!)
I'm a "die" hard fan of The Haunted Mansion ride and I still have the PS2 version of this game, unfortunately had to resort to emulation because my PS2 died. Its a really fun game with surprisingly chilling atmosphere in the dark sections, just listening to some of the background ambience in the dark is really creepy. Also I watched the new Haunted Mansion movie and personally its not that bad, would of helped if Disney chose a way better date to release it than on Barbenheimer day.
The Haunted Mansion is my favourite ride at Disney World and when I was REALLY obsessed with it, I went to the unknown corners of gaming TH-cam to learn about this game! So excited that y'all are playing it!
@@TyDie1 at some points yeah. The ghost woman is and sometimes you get the armoured knight spawn in the hallways and all you hear at first is the clocks ticking and then you hear these massive metal boots running down the hallway towards you
anybody seen the NEW Haunted Mansion movie?
is 'Zeke' in it?
He is not
1. Nobody saw that movie, and 2. Zeke is not in it lol
This is based on the ride I guess and a prequel to the original movies
The classic I have seen! Haven't seen the new one yet.
Yes, I have seen the new movie, No Zeke is not in it.
Please finish it. This game has so much charisma.
It really doesn’t

This game was my childhood. I would say this game is a kid friendly version of resident evil, but it’s still terrifying.

I wouldn’t mind a full play through of this honestly. It’s a really good game and you’re almost half way done with it.

This game... it TRAUMATISED me as a kid. But it's really inventive and quirky. PLEASE do a full playthrough!
No joke, I love this game. Played it a ton as a kid and still pull it out for Halloween.
Same. For a movie/ride based title, it had surprisingly good game play.
I borrowed this game from my kids. Very fun

No goddamn way. I just bought this game because my friend offered to bring his PS2 over. This game is so goddamn good.
Played it for the first time in like, a decade tonight
I was legitimately confused when you said the 2023 movie flopped, because I actually didn't know it already came out.
The only advertising I heard was in a radio ad.
Yeah Disney has just stopped doing advertising for like 90% of their movies for some reason.
I was expecting trash but was pleasantly surprised. This looks like a really fun game, i am enjoying this.
OMG they made a reference to that horrible Disneyland game they played, oh the memories, remember when they went down that waterfall
