We have the same reaction when a co-worker congratulated me out of nowhere and I also said "What for". It didn't sink in to me right away that any time soon the result of the board exam for Civil Engineer would come out. He xctedly told me that I passed the board exam. I didn't believe him right away and ask me to show the proof. He told me it's in the newspaper. I told him to show me first and he immediately went home to get the newspaper. True enough, my name was among those in the long list of names who made it in the exam. But then again, I wasn't still convinced that indeed it's me who is in the newspaper until I verified it with the PRC.
