I always look forward to your videos! It amazes me the number and quality of streams in the Driftless area. I'm heading down to Blue Springs this morning for some Mo trout before the thunderstorm's get here! Keep up the good work.

I knew as soon as a saw the big tree close to the stream upstream from you there would be enough food in the stream to support some bigger fish and then you caught the biggest brown trout of the day. I also liked that one spot where Mother Nature had started some trees which actually over hang the stream. I enjoy your enthusiasm and your conversation on the video.

Diggin that mini meat whistle. Any places that sell them? Just curious? Good luck with the trip out west. Glad the"experiment" of testing these flies paid off. Those were some some subtle takes and you were right on them. Glad I finally got to check this out. Tight lines man!

I don't know of any places offhand! I just tie up my own if/when I need them! I could tie you some if you're interested! Its a proto-type dry/dropper rig I've been playing with and I am super happy with how it performs! Thank you so much! Tight lines to you as well!

@@FLYALLSZN I can reach out on IG. Maybe we can work something out. Thanks for letting me know. I would be content throwing them as is, but I like off the Chubby as well. I think thats what that dry was. Chernobyl Ant, right?

Nice video! I haven't checked out Mill Creek yet, looks great. I noticed as it has been warming up, the trout were moving up to the riffles. I was pulling out big fish out of shallow water.

Its a really fun creek head over there ASAP! I caught a lot of mine out of the riffles too!

Hey man I love the videos! I’m a new fly fisherman and I’m absolutely hooked (pun intended). What I love most about your videos is I’m fishing right around the area that you do also! In fact I caught my first Brookie on Elvers Creek!

    • @FLYALLSZN

Thank you so much! That is so good hear man! You caught a brookie on elvers?? Omg I'm gonna have to try and catch one myself!

Love that damn stream. I usually fish more near viroqua but occasionally I’ll make it down to the Richland center area. Have you fished Pine Creek just outside town? That creek holds some serious fish

One of my " home streams", when I lived in the county . There are a lot of amazing streams in the county . I think there are 43 or 44 . Adjacent to that creek I caught my best Brookie, at 19 inches, in a stream about 5 foot wide .Northern area of the county has higher numbers, as the creek you're on, gets heavy pressure .

That is amazing!! 19" Brookie is no joke!

Another great video. I have to thank you for the added information you put out especially the stream name and location. It’s tiresome watching other fly fishing videos and the fly fisher never mentions location name or what they are using. You do and it’s much appreciated as I fish the driftless area exclusively. Good work !

Describe in details the size and materials to make mini meat whistles. Seems to be a strong pattern for you and I would like to try some out.
Thanks and keep producing great clips

I should really just do a tying video on one haha
I use a size 10 60 degree hook bend paired with a tungsten bead. Body/tail are just mini pine squirrel strips! it super simple and really effective!!
