Thanks, this video helped me understand why my user data was not working. my user data had an indents which is why it wasn't working. The Terraform documentation should really be updated to include an example etc that outlines the exact format expected for the user data section.
Once again, Nice explanation of the topic Gaurav. While practicing on the user data, was getting errors because I provided spaces at the start of the script which Gaurav clarified later in the video. Once, I went ahead with the video, I was able to fix the issue. Thank You, Gaurav ⭐

Hi Gaurav I am a beginner and trying to switch my profile to cloud. I was doing hands on and getting error while trying to ssh into my instance through terraform. Error is - permission denied(publickey). Can you please help me here. What should I check in my code or in console. Thanks

I would like to know if someone who has not been into systems and computer, what is the best way for him to start on DevOps. I believe before jumping on to your training, he/she needs basic understanding of computer, have you thought of making one training for such crowd. Kindly respond.

sudo is not necessary in userdata, by default the userdata is run as sudo. The problem was -y at the end of the nginx installation.
