First guy definitely has some sass! As a young singer who has done many a masterclass, I sympathize with him. Masters can be so derisive sometimes (depends on the person of course) and they use a tone as if to say, "Have you thought about this at all?" And of course, for many singers, they have thought about it a lot! The singer is also probably doing exactly what they were told to do by various past teachers and directors. So, from the singer's point of view, it can be frustrating to feel suddenly invalid, even after putting so much work into their music.
Some singers don't necessarily sing repertoire from their current fach, but from they feel they might head in the future with proper mentorship, training and natural maturing of the voice.
The soprano has a good voice, however I hear her singing lyrical German, Scandinavian, Polish and possible Russian repertoire. It's definitely not an Itaianate sound.
The first guy has a chip on his shoulder ,you can see this. And he dresses like he's gonna go have drinks with his buddies...Maybe this kind of cockiness gets him somewhere? I don't know..he seems humorless and lacking soul.
the first guy needs more a masterclass in not beeing arrogant and learning the basics of vocal technic
WOW, this is so true! How can you be so arrogant! 😆😆😆

Vocal techniques should be taught before singing such arias :)
