I’m loving the variety in music and ranges here, showing that you don’t have to belt the highest notes to be “talented.” People forget that singing high soprano is JUST as amazing and impressive as belting, and sometimes healthier too!
James Marsden is seriously underrated as a singer. The man sang before he acted and ugh everytime I hear him sing I melt. I have loved him for 30 years( I'm 36) and I will love for 30 more.
I am so used to hearing Taylor Louderman belting those powerful riffs as Regina and then I hear this and she sounds and looks like an angel, like Rapunzel should.

0:19 I just want to appreciate how she is holding the mike further away from her face when she hits the high note. She's in a range where it's very hard to control your volume unless you have a mic you can move away from and towards your face. She knew that this note would be loud as all hell, so she respectfully moved the mic away to avoid blasting audience ears. I know people who don't do that and it hurts me, physically (ears) and emotionally (heart).

Ok but like the fact Rumpleteazer’s and mungojerrie’s double cartwheel, mr mistofolees jump sequence and Grizabella + Electra singing Memory reprise isn’t in this actually shocks me. The 1998 cast can never be unbeaten for the amount of talent they all had.
The set and stage design and everything in that last one was so amazing. I got chills. It set the mood perfectly, and having them descend on silks looks brilliant. It's Lord of the Rings which sadly closed a long time ago. They had an amazing set, including a ridiculous revolve and a curtain that looked like branches and stuff that Gollum climbed down. Definitely recommend looking it up so you can see what I mean! It was a real spectacle.

I had to choose between acting and singing at one point even though I fought to keep both. Went with acting. Felt empty while feeling my years of vocal training deteriorate. This made me want to try to get my voice back. Thank you.
Ok.....LOVE the Spring Awakening pieces, but you haven't felt talentless until you've seen people who can sing it and sign it in American Sign Language AT THE SAME TIME!!! Look for a slime tutorial of Deaf West Theatre's revival......you'll DIE!!! (I knew half of the cast and died anyway!!!!)
