I once had a Saab 96 V and a friend of mine had a Buckel-Volvo, beauties of the Swedish car industry. I cannot watch these old vehicles being wilfully scrapped. I sold my Saab because the repair of the brakes would have cost more than I paid for the whole vehicle.
Spare parts are rare and expensive and I don't understand this way of driving. Well, it's a race, but what's the fun of driving so borderline that I risk my life and car? Probably for some people this is exactly the fun: Full risk.
