James R Barker's horns are a perfect fifth! That's what makes them so awesome!
Love the JRB
I want to make them my ringtone, or better yet my alarm tone
James r braker is the master of the salutes

Sometimes they catch me when I'm adjusting the zoom or something and I really jump! 🔊🔉🔉🤸♂️
This summer, I went to DC & Virginia and saw a lot of ships and planes. I even saw the USS Wisconsin!
That sounds like a awesome trip. The Chesapeake Bay is loaded with ships!
@@alaricdogface You got that right! They even have the Norfolk Navy Yard.
@@AndrewPape-x8x Awesome! ⚓⚓⚓

R. I. P Algolake
Awesome - I was thinking about this, and then boom, you posted it - thanks!
Enjoy the noise!
I Think The Jackman sounded like a yelling kid, or your right it needs a repaint
Crazy kids these days yelling at bridges.
I need this for a ring tone on my phone
thumbs up for the JOE BLOCK 👍...
The Jackman sounds similar to the Ryerson. Sweet!
Sean Bretherick ohh that’s true. I wonder if they were to convert the Ryerson diesel, her horn might sound like that.
Kris2004
No they would sound exactly like the William G Mather which has the same horns as the Ryerson but air powered
Fantastic video!
😁
Love it

What kind of horn is on the barker?
There are at least two horns on the James R Barker that make a good harmony. I think they are electric but I don't know for sure.
There's 2 horns on the Barker, 1st being the lower harmonic giving that symphonic sound. 2nd being that loud horn at the end of the salutes. So when both of them are blown at the same time it emits the low/high horn you hear
Schön und auch sehr gut zu hören! Welche Wasserstraße ist das ??

Greetings from Austria Wilhelm
Hello Wilhelm in beautiful Austria!
Dont they allow steam whistles any more
Ships are being converted to diesel engines and the steam horns get tossed because of it. It is a shame.
alaricdogface they can still use compressed air in place of steam and have the whistle as a back up
alaricdogface ntw I just subscribed
I wish they would.
alaricdogface mayby if you wrote a letter persuading them then they may let one ship have one
How do you know what time the ships are leaving
The website has a ship schedule when the ships enter and exit.
when will the part 2 be out?
January 2018 probably.
actually saw the riga not to long ago coming on the st Lawrence channel on my sea doo
It's just restricted mode
