I'm 37% sure that toast calculates lethal immediately and just makes the timer tick down to build up suspense because over the last few videos whenever he gets lethal he's always close to being roped out.

If you recruit it, you only have one leaving you at a measly 5 SD, so if your opponent is stupid, and let's you shadow step it to your hand to then play this combo, it could technically work but is unlikely, minstrel is just more reliable

It's for the coin, counterfeit coin would work but you'll be missing some damage to stay alive against more aggressive decks. There's a reason both games shown here are slow-ass taunt druids.

Toast when doing this deck you should cut out more during the slow early turns. Most of the those in the second game was just you talking about some other game. Love your videos just these ones didn't have a lot happening at first.
