Celebrating Eid Al-Adha 1444H / 2023 M with Islamic Relief Indonesia

One of the most important festivals in the Islamic calendar is Eid Al-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice. It is celebrated on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the twelfth Islamic month.
Islamic Relief Indonesia (YRII) with Dompet Dhuafa reflect on the importance of sacrifice, generosity and sharing. Through Qurbani Programme 2023, meat doesn't just represent generosity, the programme also expected to tackle food insecurity especially in Cianjur, West Java.
Meat is a luxury most Indonesian families cannot afford. Providing meat to poor families is not just about feeding them, but also about providing a day to celebrate and strengthen family and community bonds over a warm, delicious meal, also it improves the quality of life in each community.
