    Working on woven star also…im on the home stretch with 10 blocks left to piece…yaaayyyyy! I love yours also, mine similar..OMG….i made mine scrappy and didnt even consider never the weaving of matching fabrics…im almost 50 blocks in🤦🏻‍♀️ im gonna have to make this again…goodness…i think ill make it a small wall hanging…how did i miss this from the beginning? Bummer, im glad i enjoyed the process because now i have to make it right

    Your video was the first time that I’ve even heard of this woven (weaved) effect! Makes perfect sense but I’ve already made many blocks. I wonder why this wasn’t mentioned in the pattern or by Kimberly. I’ve arranged my pieces randomly on my blocks.

      I’m so glad that I could share something new with you, but a bummer that she didn’t mention it. I love the way it looks. Maybe you can just make the remaining ones woven and then mix them up.

    Does it have to be done with paper piecing?

      I'm sure it could be done with careful measurement and rotary cutting, but this method is so easy, I didn't consider it. I'll keep my eye out for a pieced block like this.
