The number of special Thunderbird trains has been increased to quickly transport the large number of people stranded in Ishikawa Prefecture, where the Noto Peninsula is located, due to the 1/1 earthquake. Although it was an unusual train configuration of 24 cars instead of the usual 9 to 12 cars, the powerful Thunderbird mobile cars ran splendidly within the normal departure and arrival times, impressing railway enthusiasts.
I was travelling on this train in last November and became interested in the signature tune which was from the song to promote the launch of the train service. I tried to play the tune on the guitar, in the same key, without reference to any score.
