      We live in Oban, so it's not far from us. The Victorians knew what they were doing when they positioned some of these grand hotels!

    What a great history. I loved the bad ghost who wakes folk up and throws tea around the room. Someone must have got on his wrong side, before he kicked the bucket, and he is still out for revenge! These stories become legend through time, and certainly keep the tourists entertained! ...old Tich.

      Some of the old traditional tales are great, don't you think! And yes, a great tourist trap is to have a green, white or gray lady weeping and wailing in every castle and building of interest 🤪🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🤣

      Have been in it previously. A lot of the charm has been replaced by modernity. Understandable since a coach tour company owns it and it's generally quite a busy spot.
