- Relive the magic of the Calgary 1988 Winter Olympics with the theme song, “Can’t You Feel It?” which was composed by David Foster for the games.
The performance of the song was held at the Opening Ceremony at McMahon Stadium on Feb 13, 1988.

Can't believe, someone has put (in my opinion) the best oplimpic song of all times. I was watching it as a kid and will never forget it. Canadians made greatest job. Just luv it !!!

Widzę, że bardzo dużo osób z Polski komentuje - nie dziwię się. Dla nas to wtedy był niesamowity świat, kolorowy, super muzyka, ten luz w pozytywnym znaczeniu, atmosfera. W sumie fajnie, że mimo tego ocenzurowanego PRLu mogliśmy to oglądać.
To były fajne, normalne czasy.

Prawda. Można iść w technologie patetyzm monumentalizm itp. ale atmosfery zbudowanej w Calgary do dziś nikt nie powtórzył. Do dziś wspominam tamte igrzyska. Zdecydowanie najlepsza w historii olimpiada. Piszę to po otwarciu w CRL. Pozdrawiam z całego serca "CANADOLI"☺. Szacun.
Ja rok starszy, nostalgia... Zimy jakieś inne i oglądało się inaczej niż teraz, emocje, frajda z "naszych". Dwa światy - Polska wychodziła zza żelaznej kurtyny, czuć było nadchodzące zmiany w powietrzu, reszta świata wolnego i cały urok dostrzegania tych innych ludzi, przyszłości i możliwości jakie nas czekają. Teraz znowu sentyment do tego co było kiedyś, wolniejszego życia, wszystko prostsze niż teraz.
Ech, stare dzieje. Gdziez ten Morawiecki i krokiety z barszczem. "Hand in hand" pol roku pozniej, to byl dopiero odlot.

Majac 9 lat slyszalam te piosenke w tv i ogladalam ten show, chyba 1sze swiadome igrzyska. Dla komunistycznego dzieciaka to faktycznie byl odlot. Piosenke pamietam od tamtej pory...
Też miałem wtedy 9 lat i do dziś miło wspominam tą piosenkę :)

Ciekawe dlaczego wiekszość komentarzy jest Z Polski.Tylko my mamy sentyment do tych igrzysk ?
Może dlatego że każdy ma sentyment do tych czasów, w Polsce szczególnie bo to rok poprzedzający największe przemiany ostatnich dziesięcioleci. Ja jako 9 latek niezbyt dobrze wszystko rozumiałem jak większość dzieci , ale czułem już że coś się zmieni, rozmowy ludzi, w domach, ogólnie atmosfera inna, teraz niby wszystko mamy, ale wszystko skomplikowane i brak czasu na wszystko.
