Jeffrey you have the best taste for tone, your ideas of how to set up your rig are one of the best I've seen, love your board, love the sound of that blue guitar you used in this demo, keep inspiring generations to serve God with excellence. God bless you and the guys of Jesus culture.
this reminds me of me staying up all hours of the night in my bedroom messing with my setup..I wasted a lot of time in my room tho tbh...The pedalboard is cool but it looks like a FIRE just waiting to happen lol..
Another problem I see w/ this pedalboard and I have a question about it..are the 2 Disaster area switchers at the bottom of the board..well based on the adjustments you make on pedals such as the timeline , big sky are those settings set to the switchers?
This is very complex, but the end result is amazing tone! And the wizardry from disaster area is just mind blowing. One day I'll have to build a rig with their tech.
hey!!!! I was in Sacramento in september 24 last year!!!!! while you was recording the video I was in US!!! !!! saludos desde Mexico.!!!! Dios te bendiga!!! GBY!
That pedal board is awesome. Love the bypass looper you've got and how they've synced up the timeline and bigsky - that's exactly the set-up I need right now. Great video Jeff, such a massive help. Thanks bro.
Jeffrey, you should do a video of the little board behind you! I myself do not use a bunch of pedals, and I think it would be cool to see a minimal setup you use for worship!
I like how there's a smaller board in the background that I'd be absolutely blown away to own. I see JHS Panther Cub on there and some other goodness. Sweet.
Very cool, gave me a few ideas. I maintain a similar kind of pedal board with a lot of the same items (DPC-8EZ, Strymon Pedals) and a lot of MIDI programming.
Yeah that's true the rc booster is a buffer but he had both before this pedalboard upgrade. This is definitely an easier way to switch effects in between songs especially since he has to do a long list most of the time.
Great informative video, but I too was wondering how all the pedals were being powered. Couldn't see too many distributors on the board if you were still using gig rig. Thanks again for taking time to do this!
amazing demonstration here. Congrats on your fantastic board. I think it is amazing how much control you have and also the foresight for considering new pedals. I also wonder how in the midst of performance do you remember all of this? Thanks for posting.
@Jared Bobier &@Michael Navarro - Looking at the picture for his pedal board, it looks as if the junction box has a spot to daisy chain the power supply. Thats just my guess
Good stuff for a (live recording album), it looks very complicated to memorize the presets for each song specially if you play different songs at church every Sunday, and I also think it takes time to program the presets of each song. I rather play live and experience with new sounds and combination of pedal effects on live performances.
There is a very good alternative to these Disaster Area controllers: Morningstar MC6. The things he described can easily be done with the MC6 right out of the box, plus it is smaller in size. Just saying ;)
This is a VERY good set-up, however it has its own problems. This seems very complicated, but hey this is his stuff, he can do whatever he wants. I have a pretty similar setup, but I got two good multi-effect pedals and two drive pedals. Right now I have the Line6 m13, digitech element xp, Boss sd-1 and tc-electronic Mojo Mojo. I like this setup because I can essentially do the same things as him but I believe it's wayyy cheaper (Still not at all cheap). My m13 basically holds all the comps., wet effects and pog like effects and everything, then the digitech is basically my Eq, and gives my guitar more color if it's a darker guitar. (Basically acts like the Rc booster). So keep pretty standard drive settings and swap through banks on the multi effect pedals. Down side of this setup is... if you don't choose your multi effects wisely, you might be able to get the tone you want. But check out the m13, it's an AWESOME pedal!! Hope this could possibly help give someone ideas for the pb setup :) God bless
Hi Jeffrey, love the video and love your sound. I have a question regarding your ernie ball volume pedal. Have you ever had issues with causing white noise? I have been playing electric guitar for sometime now and I'm having a terrible time with hiss and all. I have tried and tried and tried to figure what's going on, but can seem to find any solution. I have even had the EB modded because I was told it splits the tuner out with the out jack. Had a buffer put on and it still creates hiss. Can you help? I've been to Guitar center, I've had techs look at my rig. It's tiresome. I want a clean sound.
Rich, in order to really figure out the hiss, start by taking everything away, just play your guitar into your amp. If there is hiss, you may have to check the pickups of your guitar, shield them, etc. If the signal is clean, start by adding back in one pedal/item at a time. When you start getting the hiss again, you should know what the offending pedal/item is. Don't change guitars or locations when you do this, keep all the variables the same, then you should be able to get to the bottom of the issue. Sorry you are having such a frustrating time! Good luck figuring it out.
Hello Jeffery thanks for the insight. I a guitarist in a small church in Aust. and wish to add testy sound to our worship. unfortunately I can't afford to buy all the needed gear now. I have Hall of fame reverb, a small delay pedal, vox VT20, compressor and a volume pedal. I have been planning on buying timeline Delay. but wondering if there is a more important pedal I can buy to improve our worship as a lead player.
hello jeffrey .... I live in Brazil and I want to start playing at the church. Would you recommend the line 6 helix? or pedals like yours, I find installation and adjustment difficult .. and the price too what do you think?
+Juan Lopez The one that theGigRig sells... it brain is called the generator and there are a bunch of small modules that you add to it for various pedals etc.
anthony serrato nah there's a level control on the deep six so that's just the way he has it set it up. It's probably not exactly set up for how he plays live anyway
In 20 years kids will laugh at how we stomped on pedals and made complicated rigs like this. It'll be like looking back at switchboard operators for phones.
Jeffrey, appears those looper switches are clickless? Any issues with a split second sound cut out when engaging them? Curious, I have a new Walrus Audio Transit looper that is clickless and it cuts out slightly when engaging. Walrus Audio said sorry, nothing we can do and that's how those switches just are? Thx, just curious.
Hey man, when I got the DPC8EZ it was doing the same thing so I contact Disaster Area and they called it their "automatic noise reduction" but on this looper you can either turn it on or off. Maybe the Walrus one doesn't have this feature? Anyway, on this one you can turn it off. Hope this helps.
dude your life would be WAY EASIER if you used the musicomlab for midi and looping then you could just hit one button it would let you choose whatever pedal you want with whatever preset on the timeline and bigsky so lets say you want like the comp, with specific timeline preset and bigsky preset you hit one button and it changes all them at once.
For me, it's too complicated , too many layers to negotiate. For you, I can see it is gig specific, to have specific settings for specific sets. Good on you for creating a custom rig for what you do.
If you're in your own band, or are in a band where the arrangements (or vocalist) are flexible, you can get away with that. In the hired gun world, it may not be your choice. Many pro gigs you are expected to reproduce the same song every song, every night.
I have to ask why I see people when they play a note ( they don't even realize they're doing this) Everytime something is played they automatically press down on the whammy bar.Even if it serves no real purpose, they do this every time. Why must we hear a little whammy bar movement whenever the guitar player plays something ? Almost like there spanking the monkey. For example..The Beatles. When you listen to the great records ... Abbey road, Revolver, Sergeant pepper, Let It be ,..you don't hear the whammy bar being pressed down on the guitar at the end of every piece of guitar melody .Now that I think about it I would say you don't hear John, Paul or George doing that at all.I guess it's just a habit the new generation does..
Impressive to some but you're dancing all over the shop. Mind you this is 2014, hopefully by now the use of a controller is covering all your options. Try to recall every preset, every method to get there every night every gig same time same channel and vocals at same time....working way too hard. You will lose the fun of on the fly knowing the rig so well you can just make it happen. Glad you like the gear but simplicity agrees with tone.
worship guitar guys are just equipment and tone geniuses. it blows my mind every time
AJ Cannon lol yes! im just a distortion an volume guy haha
+Rocktron Utopia G300 bro stop putting your crap out there. no one wants to sound like them!
Jeffrey you have the best taste for tone, your ideas of how to set up your rig are one of the best I've seen, love your board, love the sound of that blue guitar you used in this demo, keep inspiring generations to serve God with excellence.
God bless you and the guys of Jesus culture.
20+ minute video reviewing his gear... you are a saint good sir.
Nice job Jeffrey. Enjoyed it.
you have been blessed by God ♥️. I'm new in our PAW (praise and worship) team also a beginner in playing guitar.
this reminds me of me staying up all hours of the night in my bedroom messing with my setup..I wasted a lot of time in my room tho tbh...The pedalboard is cool but it looks like a FIRE just waiting to happen lol..

This is very complex, but the end result is amazing tone! And the wizardry from disaster area is just mind blowing. One day I'll have to build a rig with their tech.
one of the best sound I've come across. Amazing mate
Thanks bro.
Love it!!! glad you responded to all the request to do a demo
Great board. Love the SuperBolt and the Deep Six
Ben Yarger I have both and love them
Now I'm drooling. don't know if I'd be able to sleep tonight after watching. Superb board Jeff!
+Dondon Tuplano +Goodwood Audio! you guys are the best!
I bet his pants is bending the new iPhone.
haha
Jeffrey, you should do a video of the little board behind you! I myself do not use a bunch of pedals, and I think it would be cool to see a minimal setup you use for worship!
Thanks for working out the bugs for the DMC-6D, and the DPC-8ez I just ordered both!
If you want the same functions ask for the Kunde firmware.
I like how there's a smaller board in the background that I'd be absolutely blown away to own. I see JHS Panther Cub on there and some other goodness. Sweet.
+Caleb Mills Looks like it's on a sweet salvage custom board too
+James kim Yeah man, I saw on his website that he has his small board and everything listed. Really interesting stuff.
Very cool, gave me a few ideas. I maintain a similar kind of pedal board with a lot of the same items (DPC-8EZ, Strymon Pedals) and a lot of MIDI programming.
I was looking for this a long time . Thanks for sharing , you tone always sounds great in every record and your rig is so perfect.
Stoked on his secondary pedal board as well...
With the xlr cable which goes to a junction box and then plugs in using a normal 9v.
Killer tone! Great board and great run through!
amazing demonstration here. Congrats on your fantastic board. I think it is amazing how much control you have and also the foresight for considering new pedals. I also wonder how in the midst of performance do you remember all of this? Thanks for posting.
OMG that is complicated but sounds insane!
@Jared Bobier &@Michael Navarro - Looking at the picture for his pedal board, it looks as if the junction box has a spot to daisy chain the power supply. Thats just my guess
Pretty beast board. Missing a good wood audio interfacer and POG2
The guitar is gold spark that was collected from a glory cloud!
as soon as i win the lottery I will but this setup XD
Amazing what you can do with those controllers, and what a sound!
it's actually very simple to use. I'm loving this idea. he's really only touching about 3 pedals lol everything is banks and a tap tempo.
Hey Jeffrey where's your other video episode 4 - Delay and reverb pedals? Can you please uploaded again its right what we are looking for
Good stuff for a (live recording album), it looks very complicated to memorize the presets for each song specially if you play different songs at church every Sunday, and I also think it takes time to program the presets of each song. I rather play live and experience with new sounds and combination of pedal effects on live performances.
You sound a bit like Isaac Brock. Thanks for sharing your board!
Wow man I love your pedal board. God bless you.
There is a very good alternative to these Disaster Area controllers: Morningstar MC6. The things he described can easily be done with the MC6 right out of the box, plus it is smaller in size. Just saying ;)
Can you tell us too about the small pedalboard at the back pls.. :3 awesome video BTW! More pls.. thnx!
This is a VERY good set-up, however it has its own problems. This seems very complicated, but hey this is his stuff, he can do whatever he wants. Hey Jeffrey!
Any idea what brand your midi cables are? Thanks! Great rundown!
Disaster area brand

Have you considered the Vox delaylab? I just bought one, and it is absolutely phenomenal. Also, do you have a good transparent overdrive?
Thanks Mate. I have overdrive but It's not a transparent OD. its a natural OD. do you still recommend the transparent one. ?
Depends. It's definitely a matter of personal taste. What is your budget that you're willing to spend?
Thanks Mate
Does anybody know the drive he was using in the "your love never fails" music video in really digging how bright it is.
That Pedalboard makes me jaleous XD Insane
hello jeffrey .... I live in Brazil and I want to start playing at the church. Would you recommend the line 6 helix? or pedals like yours, I find installation and adjustment difficult .. and the price too what do you think?
Hello Jeffery ! My question is what kind of cable do you use for your drive effects
When using the looper does that allow you to bypass having to use the effects loop?
That better be your phone man, or you love that board too much
Hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the bitches at the yoga place have the same pants...
it's his job
Someone can tell me what is the power supply he is using?
+Juan Lopez The one that theGigRig sells... it brain is called the generator and there are a bunch of small modules that you add to it for various pedals etc.
notice the signal drop from dry signal to when he stomps the first effect (compressor) should have gotten a bit louder but it sounded worse instead
While you CAN make your sound louder with a compressor, that's not really what it's designed to do. It's just made to even out dynamics.
I understand that but to me it sounds like he's losing to much signal through all those pedals and cables. Nothing to do with the compression
anthony serrato nah there's a level control on the deep six so that's just the way he has it set it up. It's probably not exactly set up for how he plays live anyway
Do you still have the Orpheus Jr?
What do you do when you have long cable runs? Do you still use the sgi boxes?
what kind of cables do you use?
What board is that?
do you re-amp your electric guitars when you go on live?
Hi bro! Could you show me what's the pedal for the song come away! Please... God blessed you
Whos watching 2017??
2022?😀
I have the same volume pedal but I have heard it can steal some of your signal
Its a masterpiece
What flatboard is this? Brady Cases, I'm assuming
It's on his website
In 20 years kids will laugh at how we stomped on pedals and made complicated rigs like this. It'll be like looking back at switchboard operators for phones.
what was the thing called that was added under the paramount?
Besides your switch bypasser, what is the firmware of your timeline controller from Disaster Area? Thank you!
Where do you have your knobs set on the Rat? I have the Rat but I cant find a good setting I liked until you played through it.
+Ethan Park Go to his gear page on his website. He has an over shoot view of the board so you can see the setting. jeffreykunde.com/gear
Jeffrey, appears those looper switches are clickless? Any issues with a split second sound cut out when engaging them? Curious, I have a new Walrus Audio Transit looper that is clickless and it cuts out slightly when engaging. Walrus Audio said sorry, nothing we can do and that's how those switches just are? how did you get the DMC to go up and down pages? im trying to do the same
1st Stage (Paramount): 5:23
2nd Stage (Superbolt): 5:29
3rd Stage (Rat): 5:47
4th Stage (Jupiter): 5:55
+lettersjunk what?
niccce
Awesome!
Are you no longer using the Little Black Buffer from JHS? Didn't see it on the board.
+Alfredo Conde The RC Booster at the front that's always on serves as a buffer with an EQ if I'm not wrong
+Julian Park your right :)
is there a place we can download this firmware for the dmc-6?
What patch cables are those?
what mic are using for amp?
What amplifier?
think its a Jackson..🤔
Hi Jeffrey, how all the pedals are fed ?
you explain it at the end of the video ... thx !
with a Spoon lol...
is that a brady flat board? and does anyone know what size?
The size is 29"x17" and it's made by JJ cases I believe
John Pratt i wonder if his pants are the same size
nice pedalboard !...
Which amp is he using in this video?
+Joseph Badalamente Probably his Jackson

Brasil Conectado aos sons de Worship...

Muito bom vídeo
I think the phone is sewn into the left leg there.
as a brit who loves pedals, i'm still confused why youtube is flooded with christian americans. They always have the best gear and the best tone
lot of money for this stuff. of course is good... but thank you for great explanation!
"Big black snake..." Hahaha
amp?
Usually when he uses Badcat, he uses his custom Luca. He also has an Ac30 that he uses in a lot of his videos(which is the amp on the right)
I wonder if he could do a whole concert with just a compressor, delay and drive pedal. Nothing else. No tuners or volume pedals.
Why so many things.....
His band has a ton of songs with different sounds.
I need pedalboard dancing lessons....
Дякую за чудовим смак звучання гітари
I'm not a big fan of presets and such, I don't think you should play the same song exactly the same every time.

My midi rack kills this
Seems overly complex. Get a gigrig g2
+justin barnett (KEY TO MY CAGE) the gigrig seems overly complex, and overly priced, and overly sized
cost to much. for a better price he has more control over his board with what he is running. for half the price you can get the boss es-8
I have to ask why I see people when they play a note ( they don't even realize they're doing this) Everytime something is played they automatically press down on the whammy bar.Even if it serves no real purpose, they do this every time.

Nice AC30 not-head over there. haha

Aproved by Jesus lol
Jeff, is your last name pronounced (noodle) cause u can probably do a shitload of that using that board !!!!!!
Put some shoes man!!
Why?!
I think its more complex now.........LOL
