MrHillfolk it’s funny that, have a quick look at my channel, my black ute did 461,958 kilometres on the original bottom end. Only ever used K&N air filter oiled up thick and never had dust ingress. Perfect piston and cylinder, only wore out crank thrust bearing. Look for the half a million k video to get a small idea how hard it’s driven in thick dust that’s hard to breathe in. If they are oiled up well they filter better than anything I’ve used. Original paper filter would let fine dust in, I’ve never had that on K&N
Hey Kyle, maybe fab up some tubing from the turbo inlet to the top out there intercooler. Put the air filter up high and out of the way. Just a thought 💪🏻🇺🇸

Make a turbo intake pipe that goes between your heads, Edit or atleast as forwar and central as possible. It'll reduce chance of intaking sand (compounded by filters of course) unless you go upside down.

Great work I love it. Been watching your channel for a long time now. Your sure have come a long way. Proud of ya. You should fix the exhaust manifold gaskets before you put it on the dyno. You want it to spool as fast as possible and if you do it before the tune you'll make more power at a lower rpm. Id do a 4 port solenoid on it so you can ramp the boost in super fast and Id make a intake for the turbo go up to the top of the cage height so you don't hydro lock the motor with water if you do a creek crossing or go flying trough a big puddle. or you could weld up a air tight panel style air box and put a snorkel on it.. It would be cool to log some 0-60mph hits with it with and without boost for content and to see what the top speed is. Might need a longer rear gear for the power it will make someday. Just some ideas.... I cant wait for the dyno video with hopefully some rips as well
