Absolutely gut wrenching just seeing you all standing on that thin metal plank on the bridge getting setup to jump! I feel it in my hands and stomach as if I am there with you. And that is more then enough scary just watching. Not sure how you all can consistently take your life into your own hands like that. But for me it’s more exhilarating then any movie or drama I could ever see anyplace else. Thanks for this experience. You all stay safe out there!

Those rollovers were especially gut wrenching. I can't even imagine base jumping, let alone doing a move where you could potentially land on your parachute and drop like a rock 😄

I absolutely love your trips out west. My favorite video to date is the 30min rescue mission video with Judson/Matt. Also love the BASE jumping content. Really want to get into it myself but have no aspirations to skydive first and I know that is a critical foundation/step to learning

Wow, this was an amazing video, the best Tucker Gott one ever, in my opinion. It has it all. The skydiving part is the first one I have seen where you can see just how rapidly the ground is approaching before you release the parachute. Incredible!
Thanks man!! That ground rush is because I was wearing a base rig and pulled at maybe 800ft. You normally don’t get that on a skydive where you pull around 3,000-4,000.

Top Tip !! ... when running away from something coming toward you don't run in the same direction it is travelling,
run to the side and get the fuck out of the way !! ....Hope fully next time she will learn to do the side step thing ... has she never watched a movie where this exact same situation happens ?? .... glad no one got hurt though but talk about learning a lesson the hard way, was funny though, mis-haps are always funny when medical attention isn't required :)

Hi Tucker, as you may recall, I live in Sydney, Australia, but at present I’m house sitting for very good friends in a little town about 2 hours out of Phoenix, in the high desert. It’s a privilege to wake up to the scenery here. As you may recall, I’m no fan of Base Jumping, I’ve lost some friends to it and had some friends very badly injured doing it. If you’re going to do it, do it drug free and alcohol free and plan carefully. I know you have to live in the moment, but you can do it well and using care.
Does Tucker even drink let alone do drugs?

I'd love to see some BASE merch in the store. Remember that one pic you posted awhile back, the shot of multi-layered images of a base jump from start to finish. I think that would make a great shirt. And definitely also one based upon your Miami jump, nighttime with all the buildings and colorful lights. And so many others to choose from, including what you just did here. No compensation required for any merch ideas. LOL. Have an epic and safe 2023 with great friends, Tucker!

nice video even with that weird stitch line from gopro. Btw, 10-12 yrs ago I've jumped plenty of times from para-trike (or how should that big version of paramotor with wheels should be named) , and even had night jumps, but all that with a skydive rig and mostly over Kyiv. That's a cool experience. Of course with a BASE rig there are more options, but paramotors is good for accidental skydive as well.

I used to take my boxer, Jackson, and my 3 year old daughter, Violette, to Pierce Park in Phoenix. That was the first time I ever saw a paramotor wing. Dude was practicing kiting! Had no idea what it was or that you could BASE jump off camelback. Those peaks are an incredible. The first hike we made when we first moved to phx was to the top of camelback. Saw a rattlesnake. Never saw a tarantula.
The weather right now is optimal!!! Give it another 45 days and it will be insufferable.

haha that was one of those Murphy's law type of things. Once my friend lit a bottle rocket and it tipped over, and he took off running and wouldn't you know that the rocket blasted off and hit him and exploded. It was soooo funny. One in a million. The dog on the other hand wasn't running away and didn't get hit.

I feel like Some people are just built different, either through genetics or experience, and Tucker is one of those. wow.
I think the video for me did give me the sense of fear but also I’m very curious about the pros and cons of the different launch techniques. Eg one jump you had the smaller chute out, then obviously over the bridge having the full chute dangling. Then just a jump without any of that from the paramotor.

I absolutely adore these travel base jumping vlogs! And from a Russian point of view, I'm so jealous of the infrastructure and opportunities you guys have there! No bridges for jumping here in Russia. Which is why we have quite a lot of fatalities. Anyways, thank you for what you're doing, vlogs have immaculate charging energy 🦇 hope to travel all those beautiful places you show in my lifetime
Russia is so big though, I'm surprised there are no high bridges. Never knew🤷
@@ernesthamm1813 it's a matter of relief. Russia's mostly flat and mountain-y parts are so undeveloped it's sad. Even though it's getting better, for example with paragliding spots, roads are expensive and it's cheaper to build in the lowlands of the valleys
