Hello, i'm curious what you guys would suggest - if I'd buy this one, I'd love to be be able to modulate/sequence it in a intuitive expressive and somewhat non-linear way. Can be melodic, atonal and,/or rhytmic/percussive results What sequencer/mod source would you suggest and why? Thnxalot

Have you considered an expansion to put cv into the routing matrix? Maybe it's not feasible but every time I see this module I have the thought wouldn't it be awesome if it did
Benjamin Essenshaw Definitely thought about it, but we’re already pushing the specs on the MCU’s A to D conversion capabilities as well as the CPU time available to do all the math. I was also weary of making the module any wider than 30-34hp from a “will it fit” point of view. The algo expander gives you some macro control over modulation senses however. You can save modulation settings into 3 slots and crossfade between them and/or versus the live knob positions
If one used a combination of different very slow envelopes could this possibly be used for slow evolving pads or is it more geared for this kind of FM bass? Appreciate your thoughts on this....
jsogman Yes definitely! I like this use myself. The Algo could be used for evolving paddy sounds as well-slow morphing between a pair of modulation matrixes
audio aaaand... ordered ;) so excited to get my hands on it I have tons of ideas (like this slower evolvingone ). Only question is if y'all happen to have any patch notes or knob position recommendations for specific sounds (I'm def going to work on creating one of these myself...) for example like for the soundcloud clips you have on the website? Thx regardless :)
I hear you! The mock up of this I did with full size knobs was--large. I had a tough time seeing people finding spacing in their racks for it. But you never know what might happen some day... ;)
This seems like an amazingly fun, hands-on way of approaching FM!
Oh wow. This is relevant to my interests. This sounds amazing.
What a freakin module!!!
Excellent patch, great module!
the FM is amazing on this unit
FM’s always fun... it’s the greates synthesis in my opinion
Amazing bass
this is schmurfing nice sounds
Sounds amazing!
I'm so ready for this
Two Mordax datas! I'm dying to get a quad & patch it to my Akemies castle to see what comes out!
YOOOO ive been waiting for this THANKS for the quick demo !
Looks fun AF!
Looking for a full on time jam with this one
Very nice sound that would be great with some delay, just little bit.
Is that the classic getting a grilled cheese sandwich out of the oven burn you've got there?

Those knobs are not great for sausage fingers such as mine. Sound is good tho.

Not so smooth operator 😃
