@@link4eva10 It’s not End Credits. It’s Ballad of the Windfish, specifically the first few notes Marin sings unaccompanied. (At most you can say it’s “the true ending” but that’s only reused audio of Marin’s Song.)
I can't believe I will (hopefully) be an 80 year old one day, probably humming these tunes to myself walking down the street. One of the best video game soundtracks ever made.
And definitely an underrated one! I can only find a few piano covers of Sword Search but they're all equally amazing; if only Awakening was remade in HD one of these days...
Like listening to master Koji Kondo itself composing... I'm in tears, like as a child after playthrough. The little Marin melody at the end broke my heart again 😭 Links Awakening ist my favourite game of all time and will ever be. Thank you so much 🌹
Isa Ultra Thanks for the kind words and sharing your experience with me :) Link’s Awakening was my very first video game! Hugely inspirational for me and obviously my career as a game composer!
I was really looking forward to hearing a Kolohint piano rendition, but this was great even without that, especially since included Tal Tal Heights, that takes some talent to play.
This is amazing! I remember spending hours and hours in the shop trying to get those rupees on the grabber. Loving the sound of the Piano, are you using a VST?
@@StevenMelin I can't compete. I enjoyed watching my parents run through Ocarina Of Time when I was very young, I've grown covering some Ocarina songs, real passion lies in Cannibal Corpse death metal.
Shredded Humans Ha, nice! Metal actually shares a lot of similarities to classical & VGM! They’re all verrrry technical and require a ton of dexterity.
The only thing I would suggest is trying to add stuff to make the transition between songs feel more seemless rather than "That song's over. Now, let's play this one!" I feel that a well-designed medley is supposed to have seemless transitions between the songs using interludes to lead from one song to the next. The actual execution of the songs though was great. Overall, it was a nice listen.
Sorry to hear! What music are you referring to? All of the music you downloaded should work! If not, shoot me a PM on Kickstarter and we'll get it sorted out!
Hi there Steven. It is the tracks that were given during the VGPianoMan "The Best of SNES" Video Game Piano Album! by Steven Melin (VGPianoMan) Kickstarter campaign. The email updates had linked to a vgpianoman site but it seems that is gone. Is there a way to get the tracks we had contributed towards? I was at the $15 tier.
Gotcha - you're right that no longer exists. I have since combined it into www.stevenmelin.com. I don't mind resending you the link under a different server. Do you mind messaging me on Kickstarter or reminding me of your Kickstarter username? I can send the link through there.
You rocked that Mysterious Forest! Inherently disappointing though. That's the problem with medleys -- your audience always wishes you played this or that track haha.

Mabe Village theme is a window into my heart lol
This game is just a beautiful playable fairytale, and this is why I simply love it.
Loved sword search and the main village theme... So much nostalgia!
You must've been freaking out recently then haha

That Sword Search cover is almost too perfect...
Dan S. Heh, I think it’s the best track in the game!
And definitely an underrated one! I can only find a few piano covers of Sword Search but they're all equally amazing; if only Awakening was remade in HD one of these days...
Dan S. Boy do I got news for you! Hehehe
Have you ever heard Fmaily Jules' version? th-cam.com/video/NdmgBezEFgA/w-d-xo.html
Indeed, I was searching for a video like that thinking I'll learn the wind fish balad, but I'm gonna work on that instead !

I would have enjoyed hearing the overworld theme, but otherwise excellent!
Didn't expect the ballad at the end
terdragontra 🐟🎹🎧
Bet you since Breath of the Wild they'll use more piano on the Switch.
Feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeels
Funk Monk Even more now with the Switch version!
Play at 2.0 speed for a good time. You're welcome 😬
Dude, you are amazing
Which piano is this?? Which brand and model
Hey, this is the discontinued Yamaha P-80. The modern equivalent (that is much more affordable) is the Yamaha P-71: amzn.to/2ULjT0j
nice vid dawg
That ending tho
I would like to play the title screen music. Does anyone have the piano sheet?

this is my favorite zelda game and ive played everyone except for breath of the wild :c
Good work
is it me or the music of the title screen in 1:02 (untill the end of it) sound like the four sword title screen?
This is amazing! I remember spending hours and hours in the shop trying to get those rupees on the grabber. Loving the sound of the Piano, are you using a VST?
Ha, same. This is actually the on-board Grand Piano sound of the Yamaha P-45!
As though you plucked the tracks right from the video game they are from.
Thanks!! Link’s Awakening was my very first video game and it left a BIG impression! The music is embedded in my soul for life 🤘🏼

What happened to your site? The music I downloaded from you previously via the Kickstarter won't even play any more for some reason.
