Hi Michael. Well, I started as a child buying SW figures. My mother gave me pocket money to buy figures at the local toy store. It began with the stormtrooper. Bad guys were my favorite figures. Darth Vader, stormtrooper, DSC, imperial guard. Boba Fett came as a mail in figure. Years later I sold this collection, including millennium falcon, X-wing and some mini rigs. This was a bad decision. In the 90ths the power of the force came out. Starting a new collection of figures and vehicles. But in the end it was not for me, too bulky. Sold them and started collecting vintage figures and vehicles. My holy grail is the vintage mint carded master Yoda. Later on collecting TBS followed by TVC. I do like Hot Toys and Sideshow, but they are expensive. IMO you are a man of taste. Great collections! I like these kind of reviews and you make me happy sharing them. Thank you Michael!
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for sharing your stories. We all have them and like you I sold my vintage Falcon years ago and that was a very bad decision 😒 Thank you for your support and watching the vids bro.
Great video Michael! Thanks for sharing! Collecting & loving Star Wars is definitely all about the experience & memories. My favorite to collect is 3.75 - grew up going to the store with my grandma who would always let us pick one or two out. Still have all of my 3.75 at home but have moved to my first apartment recently. Brought a couple of my favorites with me & have dabbled in some black series to display in my room. Hope everyone has as much fun collecting SW as I do!
I love to hear you’re having fun collecting and thanks for sharing some of your memories. I love both 1/6 scale and 3.75 figures but 3.75 is where it all started 👍
Collect what you like! Great advice and attitude! I collect too much! Vintage Collection, Black Series, Retro Collection & Topps cards. Love my Star Wars! Thanks for the video, appreciate all the effort you put in! Have a great weekend! 👍
Glad you enjoyed the video definitely makes the work worth it. Topps cards is something I never got into maybe I should look into it 😄 I did have a ROTJ sticker book when I was younger that I wouldn’t mind picking up one now.
Awesome list and there are some nice 1/4 statues out there I use to collect the sideshow PF ones when they were only $300 but now they’re so much more. Thanks for the comment 👍
I'm with you Michael.....people are free to collect whatever they wish. There is no right or wrong way to collect.....it's down to personal preference. The lines I collect within Star Wars are, LEGO (not so much these days), TVC, Black Series, POTF 2, vintage Kenner and the occasional Hot Toy.
Nice video of your top SW toy/collectable lines. I first started playing/collecting SW since Christmas 1978 when I received the first 12 figures, X-Wing Fighter, Tie Fighter, Landspeeder and Death Star Playset. From that day forward, I have been hooked. Here are my top 5 favorite SW toy/collectable line: 1. TVC 2. Black Series 3. Vintage(1978-86) 4. POTF2 5. Comic 2 Pack I also enjoy collecting different lines like Saga(2002, 5), Power of the Jedi, OTC, movies, multi-packs, 30th Ann w/coin, Clone Wars, etc). I will never stop collecting this franchise, because I love it and I want to continue to hunt for hard to find, rare, prototype figures to add to my collection.
My Star Wars lines #5 POTF 2, #4 TVC, #3 Retro, #2 Black Series, #1 Kenner. Although, I mostly buy black series now my heart is in the original Kenner. Enjoyed the video 👍🏻
It's funny you mention Kmart as I still remember my mom saying she s just going to stop there for a couple things and I'd wait in the car and it seemed like an eternity😂... I still have all my childhood kenner stuff somehow it survived my parents late 80 s rummage sales unlike my g.i.joes.. black series, tvc , hot toys (currently have anakin/vader preordered) pretty much a little bit of everything... Great video like always!
Really great video man! All the online exclusives have taken the fun out of collecting for me so I’m moving on from Hasbro and I just bought my first Hot Toys figure. Snowspeeder Luke and it’s amazing!
Good video idea Mikey! Your choices surprised me for sure, but respect for that, and holding true to your thoughts, rather than telling people what you think they want to hear. 😊 Never apologise for Lego. By any measure, it is simply the greatest toy Humanity has ever made. I've been all in on BS since 2015, as I've said before. If I had a lot more money, I'd go HT and prop replicas, but like you pointed out, these, whilst impressive, aren't much fun to actually collect and hunt.
Right on 100% my friend. Now your talking with prop replicas 😁 maybe a few sabers and helmets 👍👍 some things are made to look impressive like in a museum and some are just there to have fun but with a little work you can make any collection to look like it belongs in a museum.
@@ActionCollectiblesandMore Absolutely! We all need to just collect what makes us happy and respect other people's choices and economic levels, whether they be good, bad or indifferent. Really nice helmets would be epic though!
I just started collecting black series and now vintage before that I was collecting Lego Star Wars but I stopped because the selections are not as good as they used to be in my mind
Awesome Stuff Mike. You are the man. Collect how you like. Appreciate what you have.
Thank you . “Appreciate what you have” Awesome Brother!!

Star wars lego, Funko, Vintage collection, comics and Hot Toys. Like to get into some Statues 1/4 scale. Great video
Awesome list and there are some nice 1/4 statues out there I use to collect the sideshow PF ones when they were only $300 but now they’re so much more. Thanks for the comment 👍
I had vintage Kenner as a kid, POTF got me back into collecting, and I currently collect Vintage loose and TVC.
POTF had that power lol got a lot of us folks back into collecting. Thank you for the comment.

That’s a nice list Stu and I agree the Lego choices for Star Wars has been underwhelming lately.
Great video And I love the new display case in the background It really pops
Thank you bro it’s those Luke LED lights. They really make a difference.
Yes they do

Nice list and I love the passion you have for this franchise. Glad to see I’m no the only one that had fun collecting POTF2.

Haha I loved the Kmart story. Everything seemed longer when we were kids. I can’t wait for the ROTJ Anakin/Vader HT’s figure.

Yep those online exclusives are not fun but great choice with the Snowspeeder Luke and welcome to Hot Toys collecting 😄

My sons say the same thing about Lego just not that many excited sets as there use to be.
Were you born in 1977 Michael? You must be around my age if you were in college around the time of Power Of The Force 2 figures being in stores?
You’re right born in late 70’s and played with action figures in the 80’s and still buying them in this modern era lol. Thanks for the support 👍
