I can only assume that this particular M8 Competition wasn't optioned with a carbon fiber package. That would explain why certain surfaces aren't carbon fiber. As for the M8 Competition, I absolutely love it. It's a shame that the Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe was discontinued since that was essentially the biggest competitor with the new 8 Series.

Bought my 2022 m8 comp last year in May. Had to make some minor changes. Got akrapovic exhaust, intake and satan black wrap with black badges. Best car I have owned by far!!
That's gonna be my next future car. Have a 2018 BMW 440i and it's fun to throw around. The M8 competition looks like BMW kicked it up a notch! Great review.

I love the murdered out look. If there was any personal Zonks it would only be one. I just don’t like there the seat controls are. There a lot of manufacturers that are putting them on the doors which I like. I don’t know it’s a little minuscule but that’s all I can think… besides the price of course. Thanks for all the hard work you.
It definitely doesn't look like a 2022 car, it looks older. Other than that it seems like a perfect sofisticated beast. It'll be nice to know how it's going to hold up with time and mileage because it seems like a true nightmare to work on. Definitely a very interesting car. I wouldn't buy it but truly a dream car for BMW fans.

It’s a beautiful beast! I have a new 22 M8 Competition, it’s Marina Bay Blue and mine has the full Carbon Fiber package!! Mine came from Germany in May and I absolutely love my baby!!

Definitely in the same league of and cars out as Mercedes Benz and Audi’s Porches, all the top quality cars out their !!, , Being a Retired Electrical Engineer for General Motors for 30 + years, and Know a little about, Cars and I used to drive Camaro Z-28’s, Trans Ams, Corvettes ,challengers, all the quickest cars out there in the late 70’s to 2018’S when I stopped driving due to health reasons and had a lot of Luxury cars as well , one of my favorites was 98 Lexis SC 400 , That car was a lot of fun and my Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4, that car was like Driving on rails , I’ve had Supra’s As Well but BMW M-8 , Definitely , THE BEST!! and a big head turner and with that 4.4?Twin Turbo putting out 600+ horses and have to say The BMW M-8 was definitely the Mist beauty, most well designed car out their , but it should be at 129,000.00 , That’s a lot of car , but what a pleasure to drive , Definitely The and Best , Most Expensive Car I’ve ever had the pleasure of being able to own & Drive ,You Sure Know Your in a Very Well, German, Engineered Beautiful , Fast Car , way ahead of most of the competition out there !!!! , John G
