I think that the M8 is the best looking design currently in BMW's lineup. it combines modern look and tech with the classic BMW styling.

(But you aren't wrong. I drew my own M8, and without the kidney grill, I actually saw a huge Mustang resemblance)

@@groundedgaming I I wouldn’t say generic so much as more retro. Yes, it looked a lot like a modern Aston Martin - but on the other hand from about 1969 with the DBS the Aston Martins were overtly lifting ideas from the mustang - long hood, short deck, two door, coupe. Mustang going back to its roots is fine by me. And if BMW want to copy it - why not?
M comps are by order only with a down payment. That’s why you don’t see many. I had to order my past M’s but got to build my spec tailored to my wants. Ultimate driving machines.
Bought a new 2023 M8 Competition coupe over a month ago. Can’t drive it cause BMW of Beverly Hills has NOT done what needs to be done for us to legally drive it! BMW of Beverly Hills should be investigated for FRAUD! Made the first payment on a car we can’t even legally drive!!

What bothers me a little bit about the M8 Comp is that it has less horsepower than the M5 CS which has 10 extra horsepower. I get that the M5 CS was a limited production model, but for being what I consider the flagship model of the M lineup currently, you'd think the M8 Comp would have at least the most horsepower. This is why I believe BMW should make an M8 CS.
M8 CS stripping all the luxury-ness of this would be crazy!
trust me, i own the m8 comp and it's highly under rated from bmw. they make around 700hp stock. almost all of them run mid to high 10's stock.

the thing I love about my M8 is that as an adult I dont' care about the loud obnoxious exhaust but I do love the speed and handling. So I can turn off the loud and still have the fun.,

The front bumper of the M850i is actually angled inwards like you sketched. It's also the same case with the M6 vs 650i M Sport.

This is what a Mustang wishes it was. I see the resemblance, and that's not a bad thing. But a lot of coupes have very similar styling and lines.
You have really transitioned well to actual car reviews. Really like the simulated design changes to your live video, I don't think people fully appreciate how smoothly that occurs and what a difference it makes. The opinion of an actual designer is your differentiator - I expect massive viewer growth going forward, your videos are totally under-viewed currently.

To be honest I don't care for the way the rear roofline drops away..I know its a coupe but it doesn't cast an attractive shape ..a slightly longer cabin would have produced a better shape.

They should release a 6 based on the next 5 series instead of an 8 series. The 8 is just to pricy and loses much of its worth pretty fast. The next 5 series looks destined to be a coupe, i think

I miss the days when cars were monocolor interiors, now the interiors have like 3 different colors, like brown/black/gray/silver combined, not a fan at all.
Used to you could choose the interior color and the entire dash kit, accents and furniture were the same color, maybe different shades but the same color.
Red interiors, Blue interiors, Brown interiors, all those monocolor types are gone, you have to pay an upholstery company to make your car's interior look nice these days.
this channel needs better quality videos, more than 1080p, at least up to 1440p resolution for better would be 4k. Looks very bad on larger screen

I don't know if I like it. It looks like a Tiburon, 370Z, and a Mustang had an ugly baby. The cockpit is definitely nice, though. I wish they'd have kept this look for the 2-series instead of going with the giant screen.

Might be just me but i think the new M240i(not the M2) looks better than this car. This M8 looks too long for my liking and i personally prefer the car at length of M4/M2(same chassis).
