This film is breathtaking. A pure form of art.
It astonishes me that Paul Thomas Anderson did his own DOP on Phantom Thread. I really don't know how him and Cuaron managed to direct at the same time. It must be exhausting.
And didn't credit himself as DOP
As for PTA, he said it was more of a teamwork thing which is why he didn’t credit himself. Cuaron is said to have been helped by a student of a film school in Mexico and apparently, he didn’t credit him.

@@ChicagoMonsterPunk he did credit him as a camera operator and "collaborative cinematographer". I guess it's like phantom thread where there is no official DP but since Cuaron has more control, he credit himself as a DP. But who knows

The license plate on Reynolds' car says WDF, which, although it could be coincidental or anecdotal, is still curious. WDF can be interpreted as (Worth Dying For) in allusion to beauty, or it can be interpreted more jokingly as (WHAT THE Fock) in allusion to the character Alma, whom he is about to meet.
Well i liked There Will be Blood, one of my favorite movies, but idk, Phantom Thread was too slow for me
