If you are saved by grace through faith with zero works and zero performance, then why would someone think that you can lose your salvation by poor performance? Your performance, behavior, or any other physical metrics had nothing to do with your salvation. Jesus Christ paid all of our sin debt. The spotlight and ALL glory go to Christ. False teachers decided to gather all together and make a heretical documentary about how a believer can lose their salvation based on the believer's actions. These false teachers are unbelievers because they do not believe in the record that God gave us about his Son. If you believe on the Son of God, you have eternal life that can't be lost! Nothing you can do can separate you from the love of God.
    1 John 5
10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

I genuinely have a question though. I’m sorry I don’t know where it is but in the Bible does it say if you know the knowledge the truth of Gods word and chose to ignore or live the opposite will God deny you on judgement day? What does that mean. What scripture was that?

Paul's comparison with works and grace is directly connected to covenant relationship vs promise
In galatians, Paul is very specific in stating this.
Romans 11 comes right after Romans 9 and 10. Paul is talking about covenant relationship vs promise.

There are 613 Laws. Jesus fulfilled the Law on our behalf, because He was perfect and we can never be. Jesus said there are two commandments:
”And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.“ - 1 John‬ ‭3‬:‭23‬ ‭KJV‬‬
      1. Believe in Christ (this is how we are saved)
      2. Love one another (this can only be properly done once you are saved, thus it’s not a requirement)
Obeying the Law is not required to be saved. We are not even under the Law, we’re under Grace (Romans 6:14-23).

A better way to understand this translation from the Hebrew language is in "awe and expectation."
Then read onto the next phrases and it explains how it is GOD.. GOD who works in you to will and act according to His good purpose.
You can expect these things because of the salvation you have and the work the Lord will do in you in receiving, living and RESTING in the truth of the Gospel. That you are redeemed, saved and alive in Christ!

    • @gracealone89
      @gracealone89 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

Hebrews 10 is just saying that if we keep sinning (as we all do), then we should be looking for God’s judgment (or chastisement). And it is actually affirming that we can’t lose our salvation because it is saying that it is impossible for a believer to get saved, and then lose it, and then get it back, because Jesus would literally have to keep dying and paying for our sins over and over again to provide salvation for us. But we know that Jesus died ONCE FOR ALL for all time. He provided salvation once, and a person can only be saved once. Therefore we are eternally secure because we can only get saved one time because Jesus isn’t going to keep coming back and paying for sin every time we mess up.

The real issue thats probably leading to this argument is due to people likely using the gospel as a sin license. The bible does speak about not using the gospel as a means to sin in Titus 2:11-12, Romans 6, and even criticizes those who preaches a sin license gospel in Jude 1:4.

Does it refer to apostates who fully understood the way to salvation and rejected it, and now cannot be saved? That's an extreme view considering how many religious leaders rejected Jesus during His ministry but later joined the church (Acts 6:7).

They count it pleasure to revel in the daytime. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their deceptions, while they feast with you. [14] They have eyes full of adultery, insatiable for sin. [17] These are waterless springs and mists driven by a storm. For them the gloom of utter darkness has been reserved. [18] For, speaking loud boasts of folly, they entice by sensual passions of the flesh those who are barely escaping from those who live in error. Johm 15, Jesus tells his disciples "alreast clean" to REMAIN in Him. Salvation is by grace THROUGH FAITH, not through the seal. Very true that we attain nothing re our salvation only receive it, all we had to offer is our wretchedness ,blindness and the filthy rags of our own righteousness. Why would the Lord even save someone when he knows the future and would have foreseen their fall? These guys think Christ paid for the lunch and they pay the tip. Be careful that you do not draw men after your own evil lusts. Peter and Jude describes your type and preaches that a special judgment is reserved for such. The Bible preaches security for believers so that they live godly with confidence in Christ during persecutions but presents a conditional final salvation if the believer perseveres or remains faithful. This doctrine you are teaching is unbiblical and will lead many to hell. Take your time and learn the Scriptures with the help of the Holy Spirit because teachers will face stricter judgment. Because that statement can be interpreted differently and each example or scenario can be different. I will talking about someone who accepts Jesus then start involving himself in witch craft or leading people astray because of the love of this world or someone who once believed in Jesus then becomes a muslim because Christian has some many division or are we talking about someone who was on fire for jesus and just become a lukewarm and dwell in sin like drunkenness, fornication, or are we talking about man of God (pastor, bishop, etc) becomes false teachers and those people die without repentance. It's easy to point to the sins we classify as "big". But we don't think we've lost our salvation after we lied. Every sin is deserving of death whether you think it's big or not. The reason we can be forgiven if we sin , is because of the cross of Christ, but this happens ONLY as we "walk in the light". Future sins not forgiven in advance. If we walk in darkness, we have no cleansing of sin that we have.

It’s just so illogical to me for a person to think that they can “undo” or “walk away” from a SPIRITUAL BIRTH. Like really? 😆
But that’s just it. These dudes think salvation is a reformation of their old flesh. But it has nothing to do with their flesh birth. It is a spiritual birth that happens on the inside. It cannot be seen. God literally sees a believer as already seated in Heavenly places, so how can that be lost?

    • @lifes_a_gift
      @lifes_a_gift 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

It is not illogical to walk away from a spiritual birth because salvation is a relationship, not a mechanical or deterministic instant process. Just as a person who is physically born can later reject their family, rebel, or even cut themselves off from their heritage, so too can someone who is spiritually reborn reject God through persistent unrepentance and unbelief. Free will remains intact even after spiritual rebirth, allowing a person to turn away from God if they choose. Being “born again” does not remove one’s ability to reject that new life, just as Adam and Eve, though created in perfect communion with God, had the free will to fall away.
Second thing, we don’t believe that once you are saved, if you sin you lose your salvation. Sin can lead to loss of salvation only if you persist in it. In other words, the way in which we believe you can lose your salvation is only by unrepentance or unbelief but other sins can lead to this.

    • @lifes_a_gift
      @lifes_a_gift 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

It is rather illogical to believe in OSAS because it posits eternal security and absolute assurance of salvation.
You believe you cannot lose your salvation and you believe you can have absolute assurance that you are saved.
This view contains a fundamental contradiction: it ties the validity of past salvation to future outcomes.
OSAS proponents may argue that if someone “falls away” from the faith persists in unbelief until death, it proves they were “never truly saved” to begin with. If one’s salvation experience can be retroactively invalidated, then there is no way to have real assurance in the present, as it depends on a future that is uncertain.
To make this clearer, consider someone who fully believes in their salvation under OSAS. They trust Christ, have faith, and are certain they are saved. Years later, they fall into unbelief. According to OSAS, this person was “never truly saved” in the first place. But if their salvation was invalid all along, what does that say about their earlier certainty? It means their assurance was never real, even though they genuinely believed it was.
Now consider the present: how can any OSAS believer today know for sure that they are not in the same situation? If their faith could later be revealed as false, then their current assurance is no more reliable than that of the hypothetical person who fell away. This creates a system where assurance is not based on God’s promises but on the unknowable outcome of one’s future faithfulness.
We believe we can lose our salvation through persistence in sin (unrepentance) or denouncing the faith (apostasy or unbelief) all of these if persisted in till death results in committing blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.
We believe salvation is not just a one time act - its an ongoing relationship with God

    • @gracealone89
      @gracealone89 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@lifes_a_gift Wow.. where to start…
First of all, salvation is absolutely NOT an ongoing process or “relationship.” It is a singular event that occurs in a nanosecond of time. It is an instantaneous event. The scripture is clear on this. John 6:47, John 3:16, 1 Cor. 15:1-4, John 5:24
Secondly, “if” salvation was an ongoing process based upon your relationship with God, at what point would a person KNOW that they are eternally saved? Because the BIBLE is explicitly clear that a person can KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are saved….
      1 John 5:13 KJV
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may KNOW that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
So the Bible tells us that we can KNOW for certain that we are saved, but you say on the contrary.. 🤔 yeah I think I’ll believe God’s Word over you.
Thirdly, your story about a person walking away from their family is a logical fallacy. Regardless of whether a person disowns their family, that doesn’t negate their physical birth to that family. A son is still a son biologically, regardless of what he does or doesn’t do. It’s the exact same way in God’s family. Once you’re born into God’s family by trusting in Christ’s death and resurrection for your sins, you will ALWAYS be a child of God. It’s illogical to think that you can “unborn” yourself from a family.

    • @lifes_a_gift
      @lifes_a_gift 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

@@gracealone89 The verses you quoted don't prove that salvation is a static event. John 6:47, John 3:16 and John 5:24 all say "whoever believes has eternal life" which we interpret as having eternal life being based on believing presently, not just one moment of faith. To claim that scripture is clear on this and then to presuppose your beliefs into the texts, is fallacious reasoning.
Furthermore, the Greek term aionios (eternal) that is used in the Bible in the phrase eternal life, refers primarily to the quality of the life in Christ. If the main idea had been endlessness, the Greek term aidios would have been more appropriate.
In addition to that, the text you quoted, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, specifically in 1 Corinthians 15:2 it reads "By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain."
You are saved if you hold firmly to the word. That seems to suggest that salvation is conditional on holding to he word.
Secondly, the Bible never says that we can "eternally know we are saved" rather it says we can "know we are saved". We interpret this being able to know that we are saved in that moment of time, not that we can have absolute assurance of your future state of salvation, although we hope to be saved in the future. To presuppose your beliefs in the texts is again is fallacious reasoning.
Thirdly, I will apologise for my analogy because I agree that it is a logically fallacy but for not the reason you pointed out. Rather it implies that we become ontological children of God (literal birth), rather than becoming children of God by adoption (As scripture explicitly states in Ephesians 1:5, Galatians 4:4-7, Romans 8:23, Romans 8:14-17). Being born again does not imply that we become sons of God ontologically but rather by adoption. So, the analogy should be modified by saying “born again” refers to being adopted into God’s family. So, my main point still stands. You can still walk out and disown your father’s fathership over you, which effectively destroys the relationship once had with your father.
Lastly, you didn’t comment on my other comment explaining the illogical nature of affirming absolute assurance and eternal security. I want to see whether this doctrine is defendable so before trying to prove your doctrine from scripture, please try to answer my objections and prove your doctrine is logical in the first place because God is not the author of confusion.

The "forgiveness" and salvation described in the Bible does not merely include removal of your guilt and a ticket into heaven through believing that Js is our savior. Sola Fide is only an abbreviation. A more complete Sola Fide is to believe you are supernaturally joined in the body of Js (with Js being your head), and your old carnal self is crucified in him and your completely new self is resurrected in him in Gd's image and you are born of Gd. If the scripture conveys that these things are necessary to believe in order to be saved then these things ARE repentance. Repentance from sin = being like Js. Js mind living through your mind = eternal life.

@@JeremiahPMensah Gd didn't save our old self, he crucified and condemned him. Js crucifixion and resurrection is OUR crucifixion and resurrection. Only the resurrected new version is born of Gd. Believing in THAT more complete gospel is the equivalent of repentance from sin. Salvation = being like Js = repentance from sin.

@@CharlesLeroy-mp8lk Do you know how many times you sin in one day? THOUSANDS!!
Now tell me....how can you repent of every single one of them?
Repent means to change your mind and any time you've every read in the bible where Jesus or John the Baptist said, " Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand" they were telling the people to change their minds from Unbelief to believing in God.
      That's it...
God is a just, loving God but also a God with common sense.
No where in the bible are you gonna find the words, "repent of your sins".
      It's heresy....
To "obey" God is to believe and have faith in Christ....that's it, the Greek word is Pisteuio and means to obey is to believe and have faith in Christ.

Repentance literally means to change one's mind and in the context of salvation it means to change your mind from unbelief to belief in the finished work of Jesus Christ! Our works can never save us or keep us saved. Grace is the free gift given to us by believing in Jesus Christ, and it is not of works nor does it require works to keep or else it would no longer be grace. Galatians 3:10 "For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: 'Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.'"

There's no such thing as "Once saved, always saved". For you can loose you salvation if you continue on sinning even if Christ has died for you.
    Hebrews 10:26:
"For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins"
If the belief of "Once saved, always saved" is true after Jesus Christ has died for you, then this verses in Matthew 25:31-46 (Judgment day - where Jesus separates the goats from the sheeps) is no longer needed or applicable (implying that the Bible lied).

You're doing the same thing these people did in the documentary. Taking verses out of context and creating strawman arguments. I covered Hebrews 10:26 in the full livestream because they brought it up too and completely butchered it. Jesus clearly separates the sheep from the goats. Who said the goats were saved and lost salvation?

@@JeremiahPMensahWhat do you think will happen to the goats? Do you think they will still have eternal life?... If they are bound for eternal punishment do you honestly think that they didn't lost their salvation?
      Paul said in "Romans 6:15":
"What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!"
Even if, what the goats did were actually sins of omission but still, it is a sin according to the Bible thus, the reason for separating the goats from the sheep. Since the wages of sin is death therefore, they are still bound for eternal punishment as can be read from the last verse of Matthew 25:31-46.
"These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

@@TheWitness-fx4xq you cause you sin everyday like everyone in this world. Willfully sinning is still sin in God’s eyes so you trying to tell people to uphold the law and telling people it ain’t faith alone. Works are the law and your works won’t save you cause we all have broken Gods law and your saying that what God did on the cross wasn’t enough. Your preaching a false Gospel I’m not accusing you I’m telling you the truth that you are unsaved cause you trust your works instead of what Christ did and he said it was finished John 19:28-30. You will end up like the people in Matthew 7:21-23
You should read Matthew 23:1-13 it’s about people like you. Jesus taught faith alone you heathen now repent and believe on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And repent means a change of mind not turn from sins. Hypocrite! You will die in your sins if you don’t believe in ALONE on the one who forgives ALL SINS JESUS CHRIST!
Acts 16:30-31 30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
There 112 maybe even more on faith alone in the Bible and you can’t find the phrase repent of your sins in the Bible. Cause repent means change your mind. God repented in the Bible 38 times. God can’t sin so if you think repent means turn from your saying God sinned YAH REBUKE satan!

Once saved always saved is true and is in the bible it goes back to when Christ was crucified and rose on the third day, all those who believe are saved a one time salvation an eternal salvation that was achieved by the one time sacrifice of the lamb that God provided.
Islam and Catholicism they believe in a deity plus works religion they have no assurance of eternal life, we do.
Either you believe Jesus saved us or you don't but you can't have Jesus and the temple system God destroyed the temple and made a new covenant for a reason it was all accomplished in Christ.
The Jesus + Gospel is a false gospel and no one is saved by it in fact they are still in bondage and it saddens me, just because we believe Christ has saved us to the uttermost doesn't mean we have a free ticket to sin, that doesn't even make sense, Apostle Paul addressed this many times in the new testament especially concerning the Corinthian church who didn't fully understand who they were in Christ, he would guide them by reminding them of who they were, that they were part of Christ's body, that they were filled with the spirit of God, that they were loved with an everlasting love and secure in Christ for all eternity. We believe that Christ has saved us a one time sacrifice for all, for all eternity, we are filled with the Holy Spirit of the living GOD, and from this love this acceptance this assurance we walk every day by the grace of God who teaches us who we are in Christ so we may be the hands and feet of Christ and a light in a dark lost and very lonely world to lead those who are lost and dying back home to God like a lighthouse on a hill. Jesus + might make people feel they are doing something and are owed something from God, GOD owes you nothing but he gave you everything he gave his only son for a sacrifice for your sin if you could have done it with your good deeds moral living etc there was no need for him to have given his son, he would have just kept the old system in place if that was the case but he didn't because it didn't work!! Every year we had to offer sacrifices for sin every year Christ was a one time sacrifice for all time, he rose on the third day he accomplished our salvation with immediate effect for all those who trust in him alone.

    James 2:26
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
    James 1:26
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers.
    2 Peter 2:21-22
21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: 39And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
      Titus3:5

and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith.
      Romans1:17
For the gospel reveals the righteousness of God that comes by faith from start to finish, just as it is written: “ The righteous will live by faith.”
      Romans 4:5
But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,
      Romans 4:6
And David speaks likewise of the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:
      Romans 5:1
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
      Romans 5:9
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him…
      Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
      Romans8:1
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus
      Romans 8:39
nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
      psalm103:10
He has not dealt with us according to our sins or repaid us according to our iniquities.
      psalm 103:12
As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
      2 corrin 5:19
For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.
