I too follow Ms Donna, I love all of her recipes. But I think I can do without the almond extract next time. However, it was very moist.
Almond extract isn’t for everybody. It has a very prominent and distinct flavor profile. I’m glad it was moist.

I've used butter and sugar to prep the pan replaced the flour with sugar ... instead of flour it creates a glazed deliciousness

Is creme bouquet a necessary and can you substitute it, if you don't have such item on hand?
