In the US married young people generally only live with their parents if they are having hard financial times or if the parents are in need of caretakers. There are a few that still follow customs of their family heritage however so it can be found just more rare.

I understand that Jenna is afraid of being alone. I always thought it was my biggest fear too... Than I realized I am already alone and what I am most afraid of is trust... After so many things happened I lost trust in everything and can't let people come too close to me... There is no trust and I can't build it because my past taught me that it's better not to trust.
And I LOVE beeing alone!!! Would never get married again, ever!!! It is SO nice and fun to have a home of your own, and live your own independent life, and invite friends over and travel and do fun things but then have your OWN home to relax in!!!
You don't need to trust anyone.
It would be nice to trust a spouse but even then, it i isn't necessary to trust completely as long as you don't accuse of infidelity, etc.... a little bit of distrust keeps one cautious.
I trusted completely but, my husband took advantage of my trust. He ruined us financially behind my back and was unfaithful to me and then when he left he lied about me horribly so that our mutual friends wouldn't think he was horrible.
Well, they knew me very well and knew it wasn't true.
The result of all of his bad behavior is that he lost the respect of not only our mutual friends but also, all of his family members while they all embraced our children and me.
The most valuable lesson that I learned from 10 years of a horrible marriage is this: do not trust anyone completely. Reserve enough distrust to remain cautious.

So many Europeans when they arrive in America are shocked by how far we drive to get anywhere. Its why we have so many cars per family. It would take awhile to see New York and then California in the same trip. Its weird to live with your parents here as well. So good to see you!.

In Canada it's not even normal to live with your parents once in university and definitely not once you finish school. Mine left at age 19 and rented apartment with friends near the university.
Perhaps for your family is is not normal but in many cultures the newly married couple brings the in-laws to live with them.... even in England.

Many families live together for economic reasons or for family traditions or another need.
They are equally as normal as your family.

And my most important question: Why do/did you, Cleopatra and Jerusalem not attend university? Maybe your marks weren't high enough, you didn't want to go OR your religion does not permit higher education. Which is it if any of these choices?
Not everyone wants to go to College. Not strange at all.
@@Wildmoonlite Maybe that's why...because he doesn't want to go to university. But could it be for another reason as I mentioned above? He tried the trades (electrician) and didn't like it. Maybe he would like to study to become a minister..in university.
I've noticed that his parents do not encourage higher education
I think its pretty safe to say the education wasn't on par. When he went to public school he got bumped from garde 6 to grade 3. Evaluations are typically done when kids move between schooling styles, if he was actually at a grade 6 level he would have been placed higher despite his age, maybe not at the grade 6 level but definitely higher then grade 3.

Leonardo, can you tell us the truth about why you are estranged from your family?
And you mentioned at least a year ago that you were suffering from depression. Many of us showed concern for your well-being. Did you get the help you need? You may have said back then that you were relying on prayer to help you cope. That would be like praying for one's diabetes or thyroid condition to go away. Depression, if not due to a life crisis (like coping with a death in the family), is often due to a chemical imbalance in the brain and so requires medicine. I hope you sought the advice of a doctor and are feeling better. Let us know.

When you come to the USA, you should definitely visit the state of Michigan! Thousands of Finnish people chose to move to northern Michigan, because it reminded them of the natural beauty of Finland. You should especially visit along Lake Superior in the Upper Peninsula (UP) of Michigan. Look this up online - Michigan is surrounded by four of the five Great Lakes, and Lake Superior is the largest lake in the world. It’s so beautiful up there, it’s my happy place! If you go to Hancock and Houghton area in the Keweenaw Peninsula, you will find many Suomeksi speakers! The local university there used to be called Suomi University, now I believe it’s called Finlandia. @@Klmrc No. I saw a video of them visiting her parents so I wondered about them visiting his parents. I saw another video later, from them about moving to Australia, I think his parents are moving there. It was more like confusion on my part, I didn't understand how everything was coming together logistically but I never heard anything more or any planning. So I thought I would ask out of curiosity trying to pull the whole story together. I try to go back and connect the dots. Now I have to ask, what did you think I was implying?
