At around 3 minutes, when opening the door of the Forest Temple, it should have played the Minuet of Forest rather than the music that plays when you open the Door of Time.
This temple was one of my favorite rom hack stages of any game ever. I had so much fun taking my time and figuring out all the puzzles. It felt extremely rewarding methodically solving everything.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it. This temple was inspired by my experience with Zelda NES in the 90s, when there was no internet and I took notes in pencil and paper to discover all the secrets
This place makes Rusty Bucket Bay look like a baby.
I can't imagine how long this took and how much focus was given. Absolutely amazing
I will freely admit this level stumped me, and I had to look up answers on a few things, but I can still admire the ingenuity that went into designing this temple. Well done.

Puzzles, Mysteries, References (even to Wind Waker, i am impressed) and self ironic 4th Wall breaks. That is some top tear Level Design. this proofs that even without lots of money One can do a great and memorable level most Tripple A titles are despered in need of. I have once tried development by myself and know that it is not just sitting there and making, what seems cool but a complicated and elaborate thought process. Deep Respect, my Friend.

This temple had my think through hard in a good way, everything was weird and twisted just how the forest temple should be.
Also it seems like Kazooie showed no hesitation smashing your face on the picture.
This level was incredibly well done Mark. Some really solid level design. I honestly feel like I'm playing Banjo-Threeie here.

That sudden gameplay switch at 22:20 might be one of the most surprising moments I've ever experienced in any mod. It's pulled off so well.
This temple made me pull my hair out... it was amazing!
This was absolutely incredible! The music, the throwbacks, the nostalgia but also keeping it fresh and innovative and new. Just mindblown. Massive round of applause to any and all who made it. If this was released as a commercial game I would buy it for sure. Subscribing and looking forward to more videos as time goes by. Well done again.

It was an experiment, I didn't know if people would really like it. That is why I could not risk making all the temples the same way

I've played through this level on twitch today and it took me 3 hours to complete, except 1 Jiggie. Holy hell my brain is mush now but it was really enjoyable, loved the puzzling aspect of it
I took 20something pictures of my screen during this temple and sent them to my alt account, then edited some pictures to write out the messages as I translated them. Figuring out the Chess one, and the small borad's hint for it, on my own and solving it was SO ridiculously satisfying! I don't know how you managed to do it, but I actually cheered for myself with that one.

I have only just beaten the forest temple so far in this mod... but my gosh... This feels like this was released by Rare themselves lolol I mean... the dialogue nails the sarcasm of Kazooie and it has the lovable irreverence this series is known for. And holy freakin' cow did you do amazing with the Forest Temple!! Oh my gosh this was so much fun to solve and figure out... The forest temple is not exactly my favorite in OoT, but you made this so fresh and new and fun! And I think because there hadn't been that level of puzzle solving yet that it was really fun and welcome. Fantastic job with this!! There must have been some serious time and effort put into this!! It feels like it's canon to me, and I'm adoring it!! Thank you!!
Also, whoever did the music for all this... amazing work on integrating the original soundtrack with other Zelda tracks AND making it sound like it belongs in Banjo-Kazooie... it really makes it all feel seamless and blend incredibly well... same with the textures and redesign of the levels... it all fits wonderfully!

I love how you do not have to find all the letters to figure out the messages. "This message is only a joke XD" - This actually helped me to narrow down what some of the letters could be haha.
That's part of the fun of the secret messages, try to find out which letters may be the ones you are missing by simply deciphering the messages :)
X = D = XD. That was the hint of that joke message xD
One of my favorite levels in a platformer period. Would seriously not mind mini standalone hacks that gave every temple this treatment. Not expecting it because that's a huge undertaking and you have a life. Just saying it was THAT good.

Tuve que mirar tu guía porque no sabia llegar a la jiggy del minuto 35:12 ya que me faltaban letras por encontrar, por lo demás me ha parecido un nivel brillante, maravilloso el bosque perdido con esas 2 flores azules que conducen la jiggy y esa dungeon increíble, no tengo palabras para este nivel.

Just did the dungeon and I thank you so much for the fun and the riddles. Was able to find anything except last 3 mumbo tokens (2 of them was because I was super blind). So thanks for the video to check if something is needed. Writing down the letters and translate them was fun! Also to guess some if you a word only miss a letter you not have at that moment. ❤
Thanks for the good feedback. Doing this type of riddles was a risky idea but seeing all the good comments from people in the end I know that I made the right decision.
Though the instruments in the forest temple's theme dont have that same kind of feel as the original Ocarina Of Time theme does, it's still a beautiful remix of an underrated song and thats what counts to me

Man, this level was brilliant! Though I figured out the chess board, the paintings behind the stairs ones and ground pounding Majora without the translations! But I was thrown off by the "rat a tat rat not here" one because of the photo, I was so focused on it saying ignore the not, I didn't realize it was simply saying to do it on the photo! I still really loved this level though! Very satisfying to solve everything!
I think this is the best temple i have seen so far. The complexity, the ideas and difficulty are well done and balanced. I think the other temples are a bit too easy in some parts. I also liked the fight with so many enemys!
Thanks so much! Forest temple was a risky experiment (but fortunately seems people loved it). I wanted to do the most Zelda style world of all the game. The temples on other worlds are only sub-areas, but here I wanted to do something special.
Forest Temple straight up turns this into a puzzle solving collectathon. There are logic puzzles, deciphering cryptic image hints, COLLECTING TRANSLATIONS OF HYLIAN LETTERS TO WRITE DOWN AN ALPHABET F**KING SILENT HILL STYLE TO TRANSLATE MORE CRYPTIC NOTES I LOVE THiS SH!T
Do you know how many years I have waited for a Zelda game to actually make use of Hylian for actual gameplay????
This is an example of GOOD time consuming difficult tedious puzzle solving. This is taking forever but I'm having more fun than a Zelda dungeon has given me in a while
And it's actually not as difficult as it looks, because the act of taking pics and writing things down actually helps you to remember where everything is.
Edit: censored the curse words because I basically copied this from a text I sent my sis and basically forgot there were curse words at all lol

No idea. I tried several ways to avoid that (using double floor for example), but seems is some bug with the enemy's collision

I got this game and I'm now up to this level. I decided to do what Cheato tells you to do and do the pencil & paper and photos, since I don't think I'll be able to use a guide as easily. I feel intimidated but will try my best.

I really liked this level, but as a console player, some of the visual clues were blurry and hard to understand due to the N64's low resolution. Some of the alphabet codes were a bit confusing as well. But I loved the NES Zelda that was awesome! I also never found the clue to the NES Zelda area.

The second Lost Woods theme also reminds me of the music that plays when you discover Professor Oak’s cabin in Pokémon Snap.
I liked this one, unfortunately quite a bit in I got a softlock: In the main room, originally with the 4 torches and the elevator, I ground pounded an enemy while I was next to stairs, and I got stuck in the animation while Banjo and Kazooie where stuck sliding down the handrail of the stairs.
But the level in general is real cool, I will give it a go again sometimes.
Happened to me too, thankfully i was just starting the level so i didnt lose much progress...i had fun discovering the secrets tho, good level

It's not magic the water like that, Grunty's Revenge is causing it.
That, or the effect is from the toxic water in Rusty Bucket Bay.
Can anyone tell me how you get to this level? The door is locked in the lost woods. So there has to be a switch somewhere.

Under the majora's mask, I didn't got the chance to fight enemies in every floors, and some enemies weren't showing compared in te video. Also how the hell the enemies comes from the freaking wall lol, only time it happened to me is when I came under Majora's a second time just to recheck if I missed something: there was a big orange ghost on te 9th floor lol.
The way those map model is made and the way BK enemies work is not entirely compatible. I've always regretted that part of the level a bit, but all we learn from everything, so now I wouldn't repeat something like that
@@Kurko_Games especially when enemies just walk throught a wall and then falls off and don't come again, like the blue trolls in the church of time or the creepy red eyes skeletons in kakariko graveyard dungeon or in dodongo cavern.

I wonder, if Banjo-Tooie hacking ever becomes possible, should there be a hack that's just the 5 temples at this complexity done in a Metroidvania style? I don't know what's stopping Banjo-Tooie from being hacked, do they use the same engine?
I'm note sure if it would be a good idea to do something like that. BK cameras are really annoying indoors, in fact I had to remove a significant part of the Forest Temple (already finished) for this reason.
As for BT, I know there is a team working on a tool for this, and it might be released later this year.
