    Would love to know who first tuned the red car that blew up. Ran my car last weekend with your new tune in it, best my car has run by far. Keep the content coming!

    Are all these kits c30-94?

    Also, the second car looked like it had more RPM left in it? 🤷🏼
    I know for timing and boost all you need is ~E55 or above for maximum power, so power should be essentially the same above that percentage. But do you still have to worry about adjusting the fueling map that closely?

    The last Miata, I'm assuming the higher power recorded is because the compression ratio is higher on the VVT (10:1) bottom end? It said it was a stock BP4W head on VVT bottom end probably with a smaller pulley on the C30-94. Do you know what the other mods were?

      @TrackstarMediaworks  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That is correct it is a bp4w vvt motor. This allows you to play with different cam angles etc..for more power 💪

    What size pulleys were you running on the C30-94? And what elevation are you guys running at? I’m running a similar set up on an 80mm pulley around 5k feet of elevation and only getting around 8lbs of boost.

      Hello,
      I was the 2nd vehicle on the dyno. I'm running a 90mm pulley on the C30-94 and 16psi boost. Elevation shouldn't affect your performance pressure to much. 8psi sounds low and like there's a leak somewhere in your system. C30-84 only made 12psi from standard pulley.

    Does the AC and PS work in these cars I'm looking to buy a NC with mazdaspeed engine and trak dog super and all support pieces but seller says bcuz of super brackets no AC or PS

    • @toomanyinterests4381
      @toomanyinterests4381 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're buying an NC, where someone swapped a factory-turbocharged mazdaspeed engine, only to then replace it with a supercharger? If all of that is true, then yes power steering and AC will continue to work with the Track Dog Racing kit

    240 whp with a forged bottom end???
    Don't they handle like over 300 reliably with a stock bottom end? Why bother forging if you're not gonna use it?

    • @jonf2009
      @jonf2009 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Reliability, building a forged block for my own coupe (not a Miata) and I'm building it fully forged just for reliability that factory parts lack. Things like offset pistons, ceramic coating, fully balanced and tighter clearances than a stock block, combined this let's you push the motor hard for longer periods of time. Chasing an HP goal doesn't always mean you can run the motor for hours on a track, a lot of the high HP builds need cool down time and rest breaks due to being pushed to the edge.
