Learn from my painful experience, win & help others just in case they may come across this problem. Have you ever dealt with a dealership this bad before?
Most states in the United States have the "lemon law." Which is a law centered around buying a vehicle that has problems affecting the operation of the vehicle within a certain time frame of purchase. My states lemon law time frame is 90 days. The attorney generals office requires that you report the incident for free, and then with accepted proof and evidence of this case, the attorney general will make the dealer give you your money back in return of your vehicle without going to court or paying an attorney. Check to see if your state adopted this law.
Thanks for sharing, unfortunately I didn’t qualify because I went over 30,000 miles. Maybe that’s why they continue to string me along. Also this was around Covid. It was hard to get in contact with anyone, even when my car got totaled the insurance company had me do all of the work because they couldn’t get anyone out. I hope your information help the next man or woman that don’t know the options they have.
Mercedes Benz cars are already expensive to fix why would you buy 1 for a work vehicle? Why didn't you buy a Ford T250 or Ram promaster as a work vehicle which would = Less cost of repairs repairs ? Gotta hold you accountable brother
@andrewgreen4111 Thanks for sharing and holding me accountable. I stated that this was during and after Covid. I live in a small college town and ford was having major issues getting vehicles due to the chip supply shortage at the time. My car was rocking and rolling with 300,000 plus miles on it because I kept it in good shape. If it wasn’t for my baby getting totaled I’d still be rolling, but life happens and I didn’t know what I didn’t know. Which in turn I hope this helps the next man or woman in their journey I didn’t have a community of people guiding me through this very testing time and I didn’t know what options I had. Your feedback and wisdom is greatly appreciated.
Mr. @sayblaze, you got to start a ford sprinter channel. Your help would have been huge if I would have known this option was out there. Think of all the other people out there like me who could use your help before purchasing a sprinter, the pros & cons etc etc.
I had that same issue with mine. I had a hole in a hose that ran to my emissions system. Mercedes repaired mine free of charge. I did have a tow bill after those 10 starts tho. I sold it when i got it back from the shop. Never again

Thanks for sharing. I wish I had your wisdom when I was looking for help. When I was informed of the lemon law I didn’t qualify because I was over 30,000 miles, and it was hard to get in touch with corporate. They dodged me for weeks. I called and called. Left many voicemails, it was very draining. Your feedback will help others so they don’t have to go through what I went through.
Thanks for sharing sir, you are correct. It was rough. The first dealership I took it to replaced it and cleaned the Egr Valve after that they gave up. Your feedback will help others on their journey. I wish I had something like this when I got my sprinter. I didn’t have any help. Thanks again.
😅 Homie, I would have driven that Van back to the dealer and gotten something different the first time. You were wasting them people time. They knew that Van was no good.
@wifimoneyinasprintervan ok better I'm thinking you in the sprinter mcdonalds the wrong kind of cargo. Question cdl or no cdl for the cargo van? Does it make insurance cheaper? Better opportunities?
@@rigch83 No cdl required for the sprinter/ cargo van. My insurance every month is $151.89. Lost of opportunities with cargo vans, which Ill be discussing more on this channel to give more people like yourself deeper insights. I had a cdl when I work with Halliburton Energy Services up north and this is way better especially when you build your own clientele up.
@wifimoneyinasprintervan ok. I work in insurance not for too much longer tho. The price you are paying sounds like a personal policy. How does that cover your cargo? Definitely need a video on that as I'm hearing Comercial insurance is the way to go if you have your own mc/dot and some jobs I have been seeing are requesting a class c. I am gonna be honest I'm a medical patient and have recently stopped smoking to acquire the cdl which I'm apprehensive about. My llc is active and I am seeking to get a cdl permit this week. I've secured a loan for a new transit high roof as well. I am getting cold feet about the cdl as I've been a heavy smoker for 25+. It should be said I definitely would not smoke while driving but looking for a way around it. With a cdl no way around the clearing house. Thanks for the info.
