14:13 Recap - กีฬา
There is always this shot around 17 or 18 hole that you pure after a terrible day and you be like "Let's be back tomorrow I got his now"! Love the honest content out here Adam!
Every amateur golfer who isn't scratch should watch your channel. You give me hope!
Absolutely appreciate the honest accounts of your rounds. It's tough golfing with back pain, but hey, back-to-back birdies is pretty nice!
Thanks :)
Yah, that’s real golf. For mortals. Refreshing, actually.
"Well... it's on the golf course." 😂😂😂
I can relate to this 🤣
If you're ever in the Phoenix, AZ area, I'd love to show you some of my favorite gems to play.
Watching Bryson DeChambeau this weekend it looks like he's been watching your videos on course management.
Thanks for the honesty Adam. Golf is a hit or miss sport. That’s why it’s so much fun to get out and play! I know you honed your short game through many par 3 course rounds. It would be interesting to hear what goes through your mind before you pitch, chip and putt. Play on!
I hope your back feels better soon!
You’re an inspiration to all of us mid handicappers. I love your attitude about the game. I wish I could harness your chill.
6:31 Fastest playing partner ever. Dang. 🤣
Thanks for the honest golf. Goes to show if you can manage your way around, chip and putt you can put up respectable numbers even if you're "not scratch".
Thats me lol. Was a very long day out there. Adam and I have finished a round in in a 3some in under 3 hrs, not rushing.
that's my golf
Nothing like sitting down for lunch watching a new video from Adam!
King's Links was a tough course for me too. Those last few holes are no joke!
These rounds happen. For whatever reason. But it makes the good rounds feel so good. Appreciate your honesty.
Solid video as always. The game truly is a rollercoaster
Your channel is always perfect for showing how it can be done even with an injury or whatever.
I love your channel, the honesty is always refreshing and I am in west coaster in Portland Oregon and maybe will see you around that area one day… Keep it up
Gorgeous views on this course! Solid work to stay even remotely engaged in the round after the blow up hole. As always, sometimes that'a golf!
This round is the epitome of all of us. Solid round despite the pain.
Dude I just want to say I love your content so much. I watched one of your videos about breaking 80 a few hours before a tournament I had yesterday, and I shot my lowest score ever, an 81! So many little aspects of your thought process are so incredibly helpful for me, and I really hope you keep making these videos!
Takes a bad back to make Adam shoot high 80s. What a golfer
Because of rounds like this is that I love this channel so much!! (I love the low ones too 😊)…honest golf all the way!! Thanks Adam and hope the back feels better and that the first Not a Scratch Golfer get together was a success!!! Already saving for the next one
Hey Adam…nice to meet you that day. Group in front of you. Man that was a long round! That is what we get when we are behind a tournament. Let’s get out sometime. Even at PNP!!!
Ha, I'd call that a pretty decent round. I am also not a scratch golfer! Hope the back recovers quickly.
Hope your back gets better Adam.
Way to gut it out
The jackpot sound effect is back baby yes
😂
As someone who also lives with a bad back , I respect that you finished your round. Especially when you're not playing well and it's really slow.
Get well soon! Enjoyable video even if not the best round!
Love from the Uk man! Thanks to your vids ive lowered my handicap from a 13 at the start of the year to a 7 now all thanks to your course management tips💪
Wow, congrats man!!
@@NotAScratchGolfer Couldnt have done it without you!
Two +4 and several dubs still shot an 88. Impressive. So, what you're telling me is that there is a chance
Keep up the great work! Thank you for your perspective.
And regarding back pain - rest. I ignored it and had to get spinal fusion surgery. No fun.
EIGHT HOURS AND FOURTY-TWO MINUTES?! This is why I'm glad I play the cheaper courses in my area that are generally less crowded. Yikes.
Bob Does Sports is by FAR the most honest channel. Not even close.
Dealing with back pain is tough. I know how it feels. I didn't play golf for a few years because of my back. Still good to see you pushed through!!👍🏌♂⛳
You’re still my hero and 61k subs believe that too. I love that you unlike other golf TH-camrs, keep it simple. KCCO brother!
Nice to hear a BDS shoutout. Different style golf content, but still honest golf
20 seconds in and I'm already on board with the sub-tweeting.. a heap of content is fandangled
Back pain is no fun. Hit me up if you’re looking for a golf specific physio! Located in Burnaby (near Brian Jessel bmw)
Kings Links is still one of the best down there. Not quite as convenient to get to as from my Tsawwassen days, but I try to get a round in whenever I'm down there - a great test.
One of my favorites in the lower mainland.
8:14, that is actually pro language.... 🤣
take care of your back. everything u do to help i t now will pay you back later in life
sorry to hear you are having back pain, adam. that's never fun! i see lots of yt golfers that play pretty loose with rules about OB and hazards/drops. i guess if it's to maintain pace of play, it's not the worst thing.
Agreed
Saw you out there on Saturday! Was a hot and windy day, good video 👍
Thanks, man! Did we meet on the 14th tee?
@@NotAScratchGolfer no, unfortunately we didn’t meet. I saw you as you were walking past the clubhouse and I was just teeing off at hole #10.
my first time playing there and I used your videos as help before to know the course and shot an 81! So, thankyou!
Still under 90 !
I suspect you may be right. They seem to always shoot around level par, but then shoot 80 in an actual event where they have no editorial control.
But then again, look at the abuse Rick Shiels gets from the rounds he posts. He could easily avoid that by only posting his good rounds.
He doesn't have good rounds.
I’d respectfully disagree. Rick is a better golfer than half of the Good Good guys and has posted rounds near par on courses he’s playing for the first time. He also broke par at the old course and beat Grant Horvat in stroke play. I’m sure I haven’t watched all his best plays. Rick Shiels & Peter Finch are probably the two most honest golfers on TH-cam that consistently play solid golf
@@MundungusMooney so maybe he's improved, I haven't watched any of his content for years. I got bored of the bias and lazy product reviews and substandard golf. The last golf I saw of his was with the Good Good guys in UK a while back (before the good golfers left) and he was right at the bottom with the worst golfers from the group who don't even claim to be professional golfers. If you enjoy him, you do you buddy.
@@hadesignite i enjoy him more than good good these days, it fell apart after grant and micah left, had a bit of a resurgence when Luke was with them but now it's jumped the shark. Blame it on Kendrick the CEO for being greedy but the best channels are Kwon's crew & Peter Finch.
@@MundungusMooney lol. Rick is barely a 3 handicap.
It's always interesting to see you on this course because I play it every week. The greens aren't in the best of shape right now. A bit bumpy in places.
edit: and three holes in I see you've mentioned the bumpy greens too. haha
Feel your pain. It’s been an 18 month battle for my back pain.
Here's to both of us healing
I made 3 REAL pars today for the first time in my 10 month golf journey. The last 3 holes on the back 9 negated every single one hahaha. I love golf.
As an 11hcp that was a 9 a couple weeks ago, I've similarly been on a rollercoaster with my weekly league. 37, 48, 39, 46. I hate-love golf, lol
I'm 63 and have a fragile back so long gone are the days of planning golf vacations playing Everyday for a week. I'm lucky if I can play a couple times a week without having to see the chiropractor
Even if its not retakes its preferred lies and/or "finding" the ball near a penalty zone
5 hour round? Sheesh
You taking shots at golfsidekick? 😂
Real golf
I recently had a round similar to this (unlike Adam, I am not even a not a scratch golfer, so 17 hcp). Multiple doubles and triples to go with the quads on the front nine, for a 54. Surprisingly I got some of that back with a string of 3 pars + a birdie on the back nine for a 43!
Adam, so my question is, what goes through your mind as you try to turn around the disaster of a hole(s) that will happen?
I try to maintain a positive happy attitude, but I do find myself faking it more than making it. On this 18 I have no idea why my swings stopped my “natural pulls” on the back 9 but it did, and it did give me some positives to take home for my next round!
So many golf youtubers as you say using curated content (do overs mulligans etc.), it always shows when they claim to be about scratch and they play in a truly controlled event (open qualifying) or on a fancy course but with caddies and other players, somehow they never break 80! who knew!
Kings links runs their rounds badly and usually runs 5 plus hours. Cramming golfers in and no Marshall's forcing pace.
Five hours to play KL??? Painful but way to keep it going.
I shot a 40-51 last weekend and u just gotta laugh as everything goes to s**t.
C'mon don't be shy. What YT golfers do you suspect of doing retakes?
You can tell right away by someone swing if they are a poser and doing lots of retakes. You can't fake a good golf swing
Was that a double hit on the 7th? Grass must’ve been so grippy.
Upper or lower back pain? Let us know how you resolve it. Feel better.
good vid
Curious why you don’t take lateral drops out of water? Giving up a ton of distance
So every other YT golfer lies about their rounds/scores? I had no idea that was a thing.
Yeah that’s a load of crap IMO. I’ve been playing on YT for 2 years and never once considered cheating. And as far as bigger channels go, I don’t think any of those guys are just dropping mulligans all over the place
How many yards do you normally play. I drive similar distances. I’m pretty sure I play to far back
I’ve gone to even a 6 and 7 hybrid!
Some days you’re the hammer, some days you’re the nail….and some days you’re the piece of wood.
I like this one
@@NotAScratchGolfer Thanks! Cannot express my appreciation for your real golf on YT.
Very few take you throughbthe whole round, u edited
Dude I lost my phone only way to get ahold of you
Bottom line, just love the game of golf.
I don’t want to be that guy but did you hit your 3 hybrid 275 off the tee on hole 2?
That's what I noticed as well, then only a 210 yard 3-wood? doesn't add up
@@epicpatrickyolo4928 maybe it was a mis type in the ranges?
I show every single shot on my channel. All the chunks, thins, and horrendous golf shots. No re takes. And especially, NO GIMMIES ALLOWED!! Too many TH-cam golfers take long as can be gimmies. Cannot stand it.
not trying to be a hater but can you really consider yourself an 8 handicap if youre playing from these tees? usually "8 handicappers" are going to be playing from tees that are at least 6700 and based off the yardages im seeing it looks like much less than that
Well most of the TH-cam golfers you’re likely referring to aren’t 8 handicappers like you-they’re low handicap or scratch, with some under that. Most aren’t retaking shots lmao. Now improving lies? Maybe
Grant Horvat seems like one of those guys that has multiple retakes
LOL. NOT A SCRATCH GOLFER BUT DRIVES A BALL 300 YARDS. Bullshit.
I'm definitely not a scratch golfer but drive 275 with no wind. With wind over 300. Driver distance has nothing to do if you scratch or not
I drive it about 250. Links golf + wind can do a lot to a golf ball.
This is such a strange comment😂 I’ve hit many 300 yard drives and I’m close to a 20 handicap
Also if you’re gonna call out Adam for sandbagging, distance off the tee is not the best area of his game to target😂
🤣who is the dummy now? this has got be the most ridiculous thing I've read all day
Ask all the hockey players in the off season spanking it 320+ and shooting 95-105 hahaha
