Just got mine last week. Pulled the lift blocks. Gonna be hard to scratch up that beautiful body but I’m going to run mine as well. Always wanted a Blazer so I’m pretty excited about this truck!
Don't forget to calibrate the esc to the radio after you've made the initial esc program setings. If you've never done it, it makes the world of difference.
100%!! I enjoy & love all the work & detail you put in but this video rocks! Why? 1. You drove it! We got to see it moving and working!! 2. You Scratched it! Hell YEAH!! 3. I'm from Texas so HELL YEAH!! Again! 00
My TF2 set up: 1200kv Fusion SE, Savox water proof servo(don't remember the model), Futaba 3004 for the two speed shift, Futaba 4PM Plus transmitter. I'm very happy with it.
I run the SE with an 11T pinion(I think) in 2S on a new TF2 Blazer I just built. Full speed is a brisk walk and it's great for trailing. Drag brake is barely set at around 3(or 4) and holds great.
I’m not much on running my trail trucks on rocks and scratching them all up 😭 But I know that lots of people do. To me these aren’t rock crawlers and more for trail use with maybe a little mud lol
Yes, all the rc4wd rigs come with these new style punisher shafts that hold up pretty well. They are a 3 piece style like axial shafts vs the older 2 piece type.
Drag brake? There is no drag brake on the stock setup.😂😂 I'm getting an 1800kv SE for my Marlin and a 2300kv PRO for my Phoenix. I'd love to get REEFS servos for my rigs, but I don't have the budget, so I'm ordering the 2pk of ANNIMOS 35kg for $60.
I've noticed the RC4WD rigs with a brushless system run better on 2s, less punchy. Of course you can probably program that in for 3s. IDK, I haven't used a brushless system yet.

The scratches just gives it some character. Nice 👍🏾🔥

Pretty beefy drive shafts. Plastic?
