Bobby is SO Beautiful at This Concert. WAT a Blessing To Share with him his Presence & Song . May Bob Remain with All of Us for Many Years to Come in Health & Strength & Vibrance that he possesses. 💜 xoxox
Great concert. Dylan is a national treasure. I thank God for the poet laureate of my generation. Forever Young may be the most beautiful song ever written.
GEORGEOUS Concert--beautiful ( Opera House)..LUV t song selections..BD dancing a few of Elvis' moves..Magnificent Showmanship ( mashallah) Just Superb. Thank you BD for Sharing these EXPENSIVE Moments in History & Reality w ALL of Us. 💜💯👄✌👍🤟👉👈💝
I attended the concert with a friend , and I'm 73 years old now,and have held this concert in my heart ever since.i was very privileged to have been in the presence of the master, thank you so much Mr zimmerman.merry Christmas and a belated happy birthday,James.
It's so magic to see Bob Dylan in movement, his performances, his face's expresions! That's when we can feel better the effects of his great magnetism in action. He really shines and we can hear and see the show! I'm feeling so good now! Thanks sooo much Bob Dylan and Keith!
Mister Keith left so much behind for us.. that his friends and people make certain it stays alive for everyone to learn from and know about.. the best of Dylan's days. By a friend to the Music who was ON THE BUS.. like the Pranksters.. the ground floor. Hoping those who continue to see the value in remembering this as Source, don't ever fail to be revived by THE FRESH WATER that the blessed few tended to.. A special place. And may he stay.. forever young. Is this normal.. the woman asks. An extraordinary filming. Delivered to us.. with love and care. May you always know the Truth.. and see the Light surrounding you.
2000 was the first time I saw Dylan in concert, a few weeks after on October 3rd in Paris. The day after I got the news of the death of my grand father, another important person for me. So, good and bad memories. Thanks for this video!
All of Bob's bands on the Never Ending Tour have been great but I think this crew is my personal favorite. This group recorded Love and Theft with Bob.
I was there that night. Bob does not play lead. He mimics such playing while Larry does the heavy lifting. The moments where Bob plays "lead," it's usually just 2-3 notes played repeatedly.
From Wiki: In an interview conducted by Alan Jackson for The Times Magazine in 2001...Dylan said "these so-called connoisseurs of Bob Dylan music... I don't feel they know a thing, or have any inkling of who I am and what I'm about. I know they think they do, and yet it's ludicrous, it's humorous, and sad. That such people have spent so much of their time thinking about who? Me? Get a life, please. It's not something any one person should do about another. You're not serving your own life well. You’re wasting your life."
I was there. The next night in Glasgow, he played Highlands. I was there for that too. I was also in Santa Cruz earlier in the year when he played Highlands. I can't help it if I'm lucky.
I was there too. I've seen him twice in Aberdeen. I presume this isn't the full set. I can't remember if it was this one that his mic failed during "Boots of Spanish Leather" and the audience sang as one to finish it for him. Thanks for putting this up; excellent sound quality.
You presume correctly; it is far from the full set. These are the last 7 songs of a 19 song show. It probably is the one you recall, at least it has "Boots of Spanish Leather." Here is the full set list: bobdylan.com/date/2000-09-16-aberdeen-exhibition-conference-centre/

can't believe the amount of lead guitar work bob is doing! Nice playing too

@@s0ld4u BS - have sat through many concerts where Bob played more extensive lead than that which u describe

Call you Bobby Or call you Dylan
Call you even Zimmer man
But you are gonna be
Always divine man
Can Voice so versatile& virtuoso Be void to avoid
Eternity to divinity Ever enchanting mythical mystical Cafe Roya where angels fear to tread
Where saints sit and stroll
With spacey eyes and stoic looks Hemming humming birds
On to the canvas
A carnival of curious minds
Wandering wildly But like solitary creepers
In the far out space
Like spaced out soulful serenade Singing poetry for poise and grace
To escape garish to tornado
To disappear into the garden of God
Grandiose galactic wonder
Withering and tethering
Creating new stars in new galaxies
Crowning new universes
With many parallels
In solitude and multitudes
May God bless us bliss
May God fill us With the mercy of the almighty
The Trinity tucked into one
The GOD THE Generator, Operator and Disoluter
Let's bow to
Almighty the GOD ultimate
BUENOS DIAS

The queen use to like heather of the high land.
