Thank you=;^) When I was a kid, we went out on our family's friend's tree farm and cut our own trees. - He was a forester and had thousands of acres of woodland in Vermont. - In the off season I could help with trimming & planting & surveying. - Now, one of his grandsons runs the business & is passing it to *his* son.😊

This is a really nice change!😊 What do they charge for their trees there? I've noticed on my drives here in NZ that they have really gone up in price. $50 in some places. When my boys were little, we would drive out into the country and get one growing on the side of the road. Never paid for one from nature. Just petrol costs to drive a fairly short distance. It was half the fun of Xmas!😊
So, how long have you been involved with the tree farm? Is it yours or do you "just" help? What varieties do you grow? How long does it take for a tree to go from when you plant the sprout until you cut it for market?
I have been involved here at the farm for about 14 years no I don’t own it I’m a good friend of Mike , and just helping out. Spruce Balsam Concolor fir Norway spruce Nobel fir It takes about 9 years from the time you plant to the time to cut for market. ✌️
