@@prajjwalika It was mentioned earlier in the book that there was a wedding party turned to stone and the brides sister sacrificed herself to save them, I have about 100 pages left of Finale, but its really amazing you should pick it up! There hasn’t been any Jacks and Eva content so far but ill lyk if there is 😋
Possible spoilers. Evangeline was not in the Caraval trilogy. My statement is more in context of Once upon a broken heart series.. With the arch stones in the series why he wants to utilize it so much, goes back to the Caraval trilogy. He was in love with someone else but now in Once Upon a Broken heart he wants it to be E. His One True Love
I know you briefly talked abt caraval but I would highly highly recommend picking up that trilogy it is so fun and fast paced I just feel like you would love it!! 💛
Such a good and helpful video!!! I would love for you to include spice levels like destiny does because it really helps me with my reading preferences! We have such similar taste and I trust your recs so much 🫶
Started Crescent City when it first came out and had to put it down because it was too "high fantasy" for me. This world seemed a bit more complex and confusing, but I'm sure if I keep reading it will all come together and make sense. I've read her other books so excited to give it another try.
Couldn’t agree more. I’ve read both house of earth and blood and house of sky and breath, and had such a hard time adjusting to her world-building and the plot itself for like first 300 pages or so. plus i’d never read any books by j maas before, so this series was my first experience. But actually i ended up enjoying the story, it was pretty good, although i didn’t like the second book as much as the first one (my personal opinion). So i think you should definitely continue your reading bcs it becomes so good especially when you hit the halfway point
You have to read the Remnant Chronicles by Mary E Pearson! It's like a prequel series to dance of thieves, and it made me like Dance of Thieves so much more! 1st book is a little slow but the next 2 more than make up for it
Hi Rachel, I love your videos! If you're interested in a fantasy/romance that's sort of a Mulan retelling, I love the Defy series by Sara B. Larson! Thanks for sharing your favorite books with us! 💕
I read the second one Princess of souls it was really great even better than the first with witchy vibes It's a Responzel retealling with ennemies to lover romance perfect ❤ It's also à stand alone in the same universe as to kill a kingdom
9:14 I am reading this series right now. I love Naomi Novick’s writing so much. Have you read Uprooted yet Rachel? It is so fascinating. 10:35 Reading this series right now as well. I have Arch Enemies on reserve at the library right now. 11:53 i loved this book so much and can’t wait to read the sequel. 12:46 This is next on my list! I cannot wait to read it! Thank you for these recommendations Rachel. Stay tuned for my February wrap up video because I will be reviewing these series. ❤
I’m always so hesitant to start a series that’s unfinished coz I get so caught up in wanting to know what happens! It’s making me hesitate with Divine Rivals, I want to read it so bad but I’m worried I won’t be able to pick up another book until I know what happens! I do want to recommend a stand alone fantasy thought called ‘the undertaking of Hart and Mercy’ by Megan Bannen. It was everything I love about a book. Not too long, has fantasy and real world elements, secret pen pals, enemies to lovers. I actually made me cry near the end, not many books actually make to do that. Highly recommend!!
Same girl same...but one of my friend said me that unless you're dying to read DR rn, it's better you wait for three more months bcoz you're gonna want to read the second one right after the first finishes so for me rn DR is on a halt
I recommend the poppy war trilogy if you loved fourth wing! it has the same school kinda vibes. i haven't finished it yet but there is a lot of violence but gosh it grabbed me from page 1
I have recently dipped my toes in the fantasy genre and read Divine Rivals and it was perfection 😘 I was looking at reading Once Upon A Broken Heart. Thanks for the recs. And loved this video and as always Winston looking cute as can be 🐾
Unfortunately, Throne of Glass was the first I'd heard of Maas and thus were the first I read but I don't regret it. So amazing and left my heart in pieces. That being said, since I read TOG first, which do I read next then?
if you liked the superpowers part of renegades and you already like brandon sanderson, you should read steelheart by brandon sanderson!! it's a trilogy and about superheroes/villains. it's YA and super easy to get into!!
Hi, what book would you recommend for someone who is trying to get into fantasy Romance. But have never read that style before. And who doesn't like a lot of spice in their books.
so i dont have to read the mortal instruments to get to the infernal devices right ive been wanting to read infernal devices but dont want to read the mortal instruments
What would you recommend for someone who is trying to get into fantasy romance but doesn't like a ton of spice. And who has never read a fantasy before. I'm a christian and i've been really struggling to find books That don't have a ton of spice.
I’m also a reader and christian and i really like your videos❤ God bless you
This is perfect timing as I have recently been in my ‘reading fantasy books era’! ❤
I feel like you guys really need to read the Caraval trilogy to understand how much Jacks ❤️ Evangeline..😢
I have read the first two books from caraval and ouabh also...but was there Evangeline in the caraval trilogy? Idts
@@prajjwalikaI am reading the last book in the Caraval series right now and I believe it takes place while Evangeline is stone!

There’s actually a second book to Kill a Kingdom, it’s called Princess of Souls and I think it is a Rapunzel retelling. I love your videos too!
You have to read the Remnant Chronicles by Mary E Pearson! It's like a prequel series to dance of thieves, and it made me like Dance of Thieves so much more! 1st book is a little slow but the next 2 more than make up for it
I do so love that series

I love mix of horror and fantasy books it serves as a healthy escape from all of the stress of navigating life as a adult.
Cassandra Claire is one of my favorite fantasy authors! I love all those interconnecting series.

I feel like you would enjoy Thread needle by Cari Thomas! I thought it was so good, kind of a modern fantasy with witches!
I just started mistborn and I love it!! I adore Brandon snadersons writing
best thing to wake up to 🥰

I think Infernal Devices is a little overrated (it had a weak plot imo), loved the Dark Artifices and Last Hours though.
I am obsessed with your tshirt! Does someone know where its from? 😍

What should be the reading order for Cassandra Clare's books?
I have no clue what it is all about
I’ve read all except Powerless😮
Can you do a video explaining what you think is the best way to read all of Cassandra Clares books without getting any spoilers please
This woven kingdom is not a trilogy, it’s going to be a series
Added to tbr.. lord help me I don't think I'll ever finish my tbr 😂😂
The Crown of Oaths and Curses

Hebrews 4:12
Powerless just felt like poorly written fanfiction to me 😔 I really didn’t enjoy how it was written it felt so immature
I don’t understand, HOW DO YOU BOOKTUBERS NOT CRACK UR BOOKS SPINES? I try so hard not to so I can display them but it won’t work!
