TB in a nutshell: illilogicaĺ writing. Bad dialogues. Brilliant acting by Wahaj and Yumna but literally no closure from the last episode.

No mention of Meerub fathers death
No explanation why Meerub kept Murtasim away from his daughter for 2 years
No explanation why Murtasim agreed to marry Haya

Weak ending of Haya
Cringy scene of Murtasim removing the ring from Haya hand
And Farooq giving gold chain back
And so forth
Yumna and Wahaj look so humble and their dialogues are so humble it looks out of place in this storyline and in this set.
If they had chosen literally any other reason for Meerub disappearance it would have been almost perfect.Murtasim chemistry with his daughter is even better than with Meerub. The scene of the three of them walking away together and looking at each other is so beautiful. I wish they would take it out and put it in a different drama.

One of the most badly written character was meerab but it somehow saved by yumna zaidi. But still the character was poorly written.

Do you think a girl who has suffered ongoing trauma at the hands of the Khan family, identity stolen, dreams to study dead, and suspicions on her character, a crazy Murtasim’s cousin trying to kill her, and then this very Murtasim who told her he see Haya as a sister and declared his undying love for Meerub, is seen about to marry that Haya, and you expect Meerub to be happy, excited, ? man your thinking is just warped!
she had a choice She was a bold independent girl who agreed to marry him just to take revenge in her own way that’s what she had promised to do. She ran away after she had a comfortable life after marriage i excepted her run away and go and make a living before she agreed to marry him , she is educated and fought for others rights but instead She sat and did nothing but brood and self pity herself and ate from the drivers earnings then the old couples earnings then the friend paid her bills. No one forgets the parents who took care of you adopted or not she stayed angry forever. She came back on her own and all she thought was I cannot leave now because of the child. Woman , we are definitely not weak millions of Uneducated and under previlaged women and single mothers make a life for themselves. She was Meerab the out spoken independent one! Weak weak useless senseless script for a so called strong character
@@zaritak4760 she may have been bold, but her boldness was also due the backing of her foster parents, whom we later saw as obeying the Khan’s by not objecting to the marriage, and also listening to Maa Begum and Anwar who to not open their door when Meerub was going with Murtasim to visit them! The fallacy is that you think it’s easy in Pakistan,to come from a bubble wrapped home , and try to fend for yourself as a girl(, watch Bakhtawar another Yumna drama), Meerub is very gullible naive, she didn’t have an option not to marry Murtasim, simply because she did challenged her father Anwar , and asked why could she not remain in his house without the marriage! So your interpretation of this is skewed! However, she did many things while still in a psychological trauma, where the head and heart are not in tandem! She did vow to extract revenge, ie make them all cry, but she didn’t realise she already had no mentor nor much support, plus a love crazed female cousin , putting her life in danger! I think a better more female empowering script could have been written, but one cannot expect that from a writer who thinks that it’s Ok to throw in glibly marital rape and then conclude with a happy ending,😫

At the end Meerab is leaving for job as law person. None of the judges mentioned this very significant attempt of the director. And Drama was there at last.
I totally agree with Marina Khan. The confession scene should have been more impactful. It should have been the highlight of the episode. Overall, this drama has been very overrated. It was catering to a specific audience. Our dramas are far more mature and sensible. I'm not looking forward to season 2.
Marina Khan is an excellent addition to the judge's panel. She has experience and worked with our gem actors and writers and directors of the past.
I loved Rubina and nadia's review. They were absolutely right about how meerab murtasim had eyes only for each other when they saw each other after 2 years and Nadia ji you said everyone's Dil ki baat there should have been some physical intimacy between meerasim like hug or kissing the forehead you r right. Chalo phir bhi I loved last episode and hoping season 2 me we will get some physical intimacy between them 😉
I STRONGLY OBJECT TO NADIA KHAN BEING PART OF TERE BIN. SHE HAD BEEN UNNECESARRILY CRITICAL IN A NASTY WAY.SHE'S THE LAST PERSON TO BE INCLUDED IN THIS DRAMA.

Tere bin drama has been my first pakitani most loved show and the all characters were so good but the story at the end it could have been better as it was shown.But happy to know for terebin part 2 having lot of expectations n lots of love❤
I can't believe Rubina ji gave direction 8 marks. Director is like a captain of the ship. Instead he wasted time on slow drag of camera work and showing the faces of every person, very star plus like with loud music banging in the back ground. Again completely agree with Marina ji. Whole show was about whether Meerab will accept her love. Yet they couldn't bother to add that. Meerab made the admission in front of her friend where it was so underwhelming and weak. It was really bad how many good chances they missed to make it a good conclusion.

I feel like Rubina suddenly had a change in criticism after the 48th or whatever episode of stupid then we saw. I had to agree with Maria Wasti on many things-there we’re not justified things and Maria W stuck by that. Rubina said that ppl in the comments hate on them when they criticize the drama especially anything related to Meerubs character. It baffles me cause I respect her opinion a lot and she’s a touch critic but she’s rated this drama very high over singular dialogues or a gesture of picking up a pillow etc. yet MUCH better dramas she’s rating low in comparison for small things. I’m just glad TB is over. It’s been SO overrated and hyped. I can’t stand flashbacks so to say that all would’ve been beautiful memoir I can’t agree. I feel like Rubina overrated this drama, possibly in fear of public reactions. Still all respect to her but I’m totally with Marina and Maria and some points with Nadia.

Disagree that haya should have been given a psychotic breakdown at the end. Lot of screentime was already wasted in earlier episodes by focusing on haya unnecessarily. I loved that murtasim royally ignored haya. Glad he handed over the punishment part to maa begum and dint bother to spend any more of his time on her nonsense. The bedroom scene was beautiful and emotional. A simple hug of meerab and murtasim would have felt complete. Hope they continue meerab-murtasim story in S2.
